Galleries Ikon has two gallery floors available for hire, either separately or combined, offering a unique and inspiring environment for special events. Both are bright and spacious, with high ceilings and attractive architecture, Ikon s exhibitions provide an ever-changing and spectacular backdrop. The flexibility offered by the galleries make them ideal for all occasions including: canapé receptions, dinners, product launches, awards ceremonies, seminars, conferences and wedding receptions. Both galleries are available to hire all day Mondays and from 6pm on all other days. First Floor Gallery Capacity: 150 standing / 90 seated Second Floor Gallery Capacity: 150 standing / 100 seated We found the perfect setting for our Birmingham event at Ikon Gallery. Events Room Our Events Room is an adaptable space for smaller, more intimate, events. Ideal for workshops, seminars, meetings, presentations and drinks receptions, it has a capacity of up to 40 people, and is available every day 9am 9pm. Ikon Gallery was the ideal setting for our launch event: a cultural centre at the heart of the city, with its own distinctive style and at the same time, both welcoming and highly professional. Greg Leadbetter, Institute of Creative Writing Meeting Room The Meeting Room is a modern boardroom space with an abundance of natural light. Perfect for meetings, interviews and training sessions, with complimentary internet access and a large LCD screen. It accommodates up to 12 people and is available every day, 9am 9pm.

Filming and Photoshoots The beautiful architecture and interior of Ikon is a perfect location for filming and photoshoots. Modern features set within the historic Grade II listed neo-gothic building provide a unique backdrop. Catering Catering for events is provided by Café Opus at Ikon. Alternative catering can also be used, subject to agreement with Ikon.
