Launching the company's history. In a family garage. Self-employment and materialising the idea of manufacturing handmade shoes. Company s owner Janez Dolenc needed first assistance and sourced it outside the family frame. Start of side-production of protection gloves. Primary focus on protection footwear. Working force reached 15 people. Company's breakpoint. Yugoslavia fell apart. Purchase and sales market both crashed down overnight, at that time the company s output being 50 pairs of shoes and 400 pairs of gloves per day. Very challenging time. nlargement of the production space up to 700 sq. m, totalling 21 workers. Millennium turning point coming from the first firefighter boot produced and certified: Brandbull 001. The 30th anniversary of company's existence with 32 employees and 1,400 sq. m of production space. New models Brandbull 002 and Brandbull 003 launched, certified by Slovenian Firefighters ssociation. Trademarks registration: JDO: protection footwear PLNINK: trekking footwear BRNDBULL: firefighters footwear First boots produced according to newly established standards N15090:2006. Further extension of production to 2,100 sq. m. Strengthening the company's position in firefighters footwear. Models Brandbull 005, 006 and Dean II entered the market. Company's presence felt in majority of U markets, Russia and in former Yugoslavian market. The owner s son Janko Dolenc, a qualified and highly skilled shoemaker, officially took over the company s steering wheel. Stuff reached 45 people. dditional warehouse space built and company's surrounding settled. New model Brandbull 007 for forest firefighting manufactured. ll boots produced according to new standards N 15090:2012. Production: 300 pairs per day; 65,000 yearly. Simply put them over your footwear and tighten them with a strap. The crampons are both discreet and comfortable. Storing is easy thanks to a convenient carrying case, equipped with a karabiner and a belt attachment. Crampons are designed for use on snowy and icy terrain by more demanding users.
