Coming to Zoo Camp Getting Into Brookfield Zoo Running Late? The Brookfield Zoo has two entrances. Campers and their families must enter through the South Gate near Riverside Brookfield High School. You can find a map and directions on pages 6 and 7. Let the gate attendant know that you are here for Zoo Camp and show them your confirmation letter or this confirmation packet. You do not need to pay parking or admission. Once past the first gate, turn right and go to the second gate. Tell the second gate attendant that you are here for Zoo Camp and show them your confirmation letter. Follow the road around the perimeter of the Zoo to the Discovery Center parking lot. Please follow posted signs and speed limits. Do not park in the yellow lined area next to the building; there are plenty of available parking spaces. Failure to stop at BOTH parking booths, ALL stop signs, obey parking signs, or obey speed limits may result in a moving violation. Pick Up Procedure Campers must be signed in and out every day. You will pick up your camper in the Discovery Center Lobby where you dropped them off. Please make sure any and all people who will be picking up your camper are noted on the authorized pick-up section at the bottom of the Medical Waiver (p. 8 & 9). A photo I.D. will be required every day for pick-up. Your Camper will not be released at pick up to anyone without a photo ID. Construction Notice! If you are running late for camp drop-off or pick-up, please call 708-688-8342 so that we may notify your child s Camp Counselors. Please be aware that groups will head out into the park 10 minutes after drop off time. Camper pick-up is promptly at 12:00 Noon. Please be sure to arrive on time for pick-up. Camp Counselors will remain in the pick-up location with Campers for only 5 minutes past pickup time, at which point the Campers and Counselors will move into one of the Classrooms in the Discovery Center and you will be charged a late fee as follows: Late Fees A sewer rehabilitation project in Brookfield, Riverside, and North Riverside communities will be ongoing throughout the fall of 2017.
