Afternoon: Check-in at hotel, where you will be welcomed with delicious coffee, cake and cool drinks. 7:00pm: Welcome dinner in hotel. Tuesday 13 Sep -Sightseeing Thüringerwald/Franken/Flossfahrt/Bamberg- Our hotel is located in Suhl, in the middle of the "green heart of Germany", about 800 meters above sea level with a terrific view. From there we start our first day with a bus ride through the Thüringer Wald, which is bordered in the north by the Harz mountains, in the south by the Frankenwald and in the west by the Rhön mountains (which straddles the border area of the states of Hesse, Bavaria and Thuringia). Our destination is Franken, from where we start a funny Flossfahrt (kind of raft ride). On board there will be local food, fresh beer and you can sing along with the "Bordmusikanten". After concluding our trip on the Main river we will continue to Bamberg,a Unesco World Heritage site, where our local tour guide is waiting for us. After the tour there will be enough free time for shopping in this over 1000 years old city. Late afternoon return to hotel. 7:00PM: Dinner in hotel and entertainment with well known musicians. Wednesday 14 Sep -Sightseeing Erfurt-
3 of 8 8/8/2016 10:40 AM 10:00AM: Today we will travel by bus to Erfurt, capital city of the state of Thüringen, where we will be doing some sightseeing. You will hear about the history of this 1000 year old city, see the Dom and other centuries old buildings, all nicely restored. In a cellar dating back to the middle ages we will meet the knights, who will explain the customs and traditions from the middle ages. After the medieval lunch,with lots of fun and humor, there will be some free time for shopping, relaxing or just strolling in this beautiful city. 7:00PM: Dinner/Entertainment. Thursday 15 Sep-Sightseeing Franconia-Nürnberg 9:00AM: Departure by bus for a visit to the region of Franconia (Franken oder Frankenland) with Nürnberg as its focal point.this city with its rich history is famous for its Lebkuchen and its Christkindlmarkt (Christmas market) as well as for its darker site during pre-war rallies and the after war Nurnberg trials. Today it is a modern city which safeguards its centuries old history and treasures. Nürnberg invites you to browse around and enjoy.
4 of 8 8/8/2016 10:40 AM 7:00PM: Dinner in hotel/entertainment/ Friday 16 Sep- Surprise & private party- After several days of sightseeing we take it a bit easier today. We invite you for a short trip through the Thüringer Wald... some surprises are planned... In the afternoon our stay in the area will be celebrated with a private party with wine and beer! Thüringen is the "world capital" of the Bratwurst and that is why we will have a Bratwurst party. 7:00PM: Dinner... Thüringer specialities and music. Saturday 17 Sep - Transfer to Teutoburger Wald (State of Nordrhein-Westphalia)- 8:00AM: Breakfast in hotel and check-out. 9:00AM: Today will bring us to Hotel Germanenhof in Steinheim-Sandebeck (Teutoburgerwald). It is in the Teutoburger Wald where the Germanics once stopped the advancing Romans. On the way we will stop in Kassel where the Grimm Brothers wrote their famous and beautiful fairy-tails. Upon arrival in the hotel a welcome drink will be served. 7:00PM: Dinner in the hotel. After dinner we will have a cozy get-to-together with music and dancing. Sunday 18 Sep -The Pied Piper of Hameln-
5 of 8 8/8/2016 10:40 AM 10:00AM: Departure by bus for a day in medieval Hameln, town of the "Pied Piper". We will follow one of the piper's descendants who will tell us the true story! Hameln was a walled city and some parts of the wall and other historic buildings are still standing. The inner city is a pedestrian only shopping area with many side walk cafes. Return to hotel in the afternoon. 7:00PM: Dinner in hotel. Monday 19 Sep - Detmold- 11:00AM: Departure by bus for Detmold. It's a beautiful old town, not far away from our hotel. You have free time for shopping or stroll through the park. 7:00 PM Dinner in hotel & entertainment. Tuesday 20 Sep- Adler show-hermannnsdenkmal- 10:00AM: Departure by bus for local sightseeing. We looked all over Germany to find the German Eagle and we finally traced him down! You are invited to watch this outstanding show with these amazing birds. After the bird show we will visit the Hermannsdenkmal. The monument commemorates the Cherusci war chief Hermann or Armin (Latin: Arminius) and the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest in 9 AD when the Germanic tribes under Arminius fought three Roman legions and other troops under Varius. Building for the statue was started in 1841, but was not finished until 1875 with the help of a lot of money from the state of Prussia. 7:00PM: Dinner in hotel. Today we start the last portion of our tour and we drive north into the direction of the Lüneburger Heide. Famous is the red color of the heather at the end of the summer. We will visit the beautiful city of Lüneburg for a sighsteeing tour with a local tourguide. There will be enough time left for shopping and relaxing. Dinner: In Lüneburg in a very special restaurant. During the evening we continue our drive to Hotel Heidehof, located in Schleswig-Holstein,between Hamburg and Kiel. Late arrival in hotel. Check-in. Thursday 22 Sep - Sonderborg in Denmark- 9:00AM: Departure by bus for a day trip to Sonderborg/Denmark. 11:00 AM Our English speaking tourguide will explain about the people & country of Denmark. Sonderborg is located at the Kieler Bucht (Bay of Kiel)in the Baltic Sea and recommended by most of travelguides. 7:00PM: Dinner in hotel/entertainment. Friday 23 Sep - Schleswig-Holstein and Lübeck-Ostsee-

Our next destination is Lübeck, after a beautiful tour through Schleswig-Holstein. we will we will do the city sightseeeing by boat and a side trip to the Trave (side arm to Baltic sea). This medieval town is the most picturesque in northern Germany. Who does not know the world famous Holsten Tor (gate) or the Lübecker marzipan? We will show you where this delicacy is produced and tastes the best. We invite you for coffee and cake and in the museum you will see how the original Marzipan "Niederegger" is produced. 7:00PM: Dinner at an original place in Luebeck's Kartoffelkeller. Saturday 24 Sep- Hamburg 9:00AM: Departure by bus for our last excursion which will bring us to the majestic Hanseatic city/state of Hamburg. A local guide will show us the most beautiful and best known places. There will be free time to explore the town on your own and to do some shopping. 7:00PM: Farewell dinner at the oldest Bar of Hamburg: Reeperbahn Veermaster and entertainment Time to say "good bye", until the next "Reise mit Musik".
