Prepared and led all work and plans for a high specification start-up airline based in Geneva, Switzerland, Geneva World Airlines. Worked closely with aircraft manufacturers of both Long/Medium and Short haul aircraft obtaining and evaluating operational data to fit aircraft to routes. Led discussions with Regulatory Authority and potential Investors as well as discussions at the highest level with anticipated code share/feeder, de-feeder airlines. Created extensively detailed financial Business Plan for investors and aircraft Lessors, which was fully approved, and prepared for submission to Federal Office of Civil Aviation (Switzerland) in support of our application for an Air Operators Certificate. Interviewed and approved candidates for senior V-P level appointments. Prepared Financial Study for The Government of Eritrea on Red Sea Air, on behalf of Air Harbour Technologies Limited. Red Sea Air was the national airline of Eritrea. This was a study to provide the Eritrean Government with a planned structure to provide ACMI leased aircraft for international service, together with plans for improving regional services.

Maiden Aviation Ltd, for Georgian Airlines. Led a team of airline professionals to carry out a management audit of the airline. Prepared a Business Plan, including potential markets, financial costing etc., to introduce western (Airbus/Boeing) aircraft to the former Soviet Union state. This was a study funded by the British Government Nigerian Airways To locate and recommend aircraft types. Carry out study for introduction of DC 10 aircraft. Air Jamaica (1995-96) Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Chief Financial Officer. Responsible for all matters financial. Completed studies for replacement of ageing aircraft. Negotiated the leasing of 6 A310-300 and 6 A320 aircraft to modernise the fleet from Airbus. Reorganised financial division to improve costs and efficiency. Began implementation of reengineering of all IT structures to eliminate fragmented operations. British Airways Speedwing Consultants (1990-1995). Senior Consultant. Reported to company owners of: Emirates Air Service Viability of Abu Dhabi Dubai air operations using HS748 aircraft, on behalf of British Aerospace. Kuwait Airlines Prepared route costing plan to augment new sales initiative after the previous Gulf War. TACA Group, San Salvador. Prepared rationalisation plan to amalgamate route structure of five Central American airlines to form one network. Avianca Bogotá. Full financial audit covering maintenance, purchasing, general accounting, revenue accounting and including the rationalization of departmental duties for senior managers. Jet Airways Bombay. Prepared five years Business Plan that included aircraft type selection, market survey, route costing. In house projects for British Airways, including management audit of LIAT. The provision of a Business Plan for Caribbean Express for BA. Khalid Air (1989-90) Sharjah, General Manager. Formed new cargo airline to operate specifically between Sharjah and Iran with B707-200 aircraft, on behalf of a joint venture between Dutco (A Belgian Company) and Sheik Mohammed Al Quasami, a member of the Sharjah royal family. Air Seychelles (1985-88) Financial Director. Introduced B707-200 aircraft to replace temporary leased A300-B4 aircraft and later B767-200ER. Acted as deputy to the Executive Chairman. By reorganisation and aircraft switching, achieved projected profits from major state loss making enterprise.
