Dear Butte des Morts Members, Unique among many private country clubs in the Upper Midwest, Butte des Morts offers a never ending social calendar of events which are well-attended and great fun! Described as a cruise ship on land there is something for members and guests to enjoy every day! Cherished memories await here at Butte des Morts, so mark your calendars and do not miss out! To keep you better informed of what is happening at your Club, we have developed this Social Calendar so you can plan ahead. Our events are about coming together with your fellow members. We are introducing some new exciting events while still maintaining the traditions you love. You will see more activities at the pool, like the can t miss July Free the Fish party. We will continue the popular on Friday evenings and Kid s Camp. will also be available for some of the Member Events, which we will keep you posted on. For our adult social events, ranging from gourmet Wine, Beer, or Liquor Dinners to dancing the night away at New Year s Eve, Valentine s Day, or several other special events. As you turn the pages, the monthly calendar will be on the bottom, and a brief explanation of the events of that month on top. Our website will provide more detail and the opportunity to sign up for some of the events. During the warm season your question will be; Is it Friday? Then you ll want to come out to the Pool or Patio, the best casual outdoor seating in the Fox Valley, for our Sunset Social. Maybe you would enjoy cocktails and complimentary hors d oeuvres in the grille while you compare notes on your golf game with friends, meet some new members or make plans for the coming week. Whether you have a burger from the Grille Menu on the Patio or join us in the Butte des Morts Room for a full dinner of steak, sea bass, or one of Chef Ray s other specialties; you are always welcome, and we look forward to serving you at the Club.
