PLAYER INSTRUaiONS Officials of the Pacific Southwest Babe Ruth Baseball and the host have been extremely busy and conscientious in their plans to ensure your stay in Hilmar, California will be pleasant and memorable. We ask for your complete cooperation in adhering to the following rules to avoid any conflicts. ASSISTANCE We want all participants to thoroughly enjoy themselves during the tournament. If you need any information or assistance, contact your team manager immediately. The manager, in turn, may request assistance from tournament headquarters or may contact the team host for needed information. CONDUCT You must always be on your best behavior, both on and off the field. Any misconduct could cause you to be disqualified from participating in the tournament, and could also adversely affect the rest of the team. "Ragging" of other players or the umpires will not be tolerated. SCHEDULE Follow your team schedule at all times. Be at practice sessions, Regional tournament games, and special events ON TIME, and dress appropriately for each function. You may not leave any event without first receiving approval from the team manager. APPEARANCE As representatives of your region, we expect you to dress in a manner reflective of your pride in being chosen. You may dress informally and comfortably, however, you are expected to be in uniforms at games and be uniformly dressed at other events. You are expected to be appropriately attired at all times. UNIFORMS No repeat of numbers on a team. Each player will have a different number on his uniform. The official Babe Ruth shoulder emblem will be worn on the left sleeve. SPECIAL ASSISTANCE Contact your team manager or member of the tournament staff. Check with your team manager prior to any swimming activities especially on game days. GROUP ROOM RATES Based upon Pacific Southwest Regional Babe Ruth Tournament total program requirements as outlined in this agreement, Hotel confirms the following group rates (net of all taxes): Holiday Inn Express King Suite w/ sofa pullout: $115.00+Taxes Fairfield Inn & Suites Queen/Queen: $105.00+ Taxes Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 9.0% for the local occupancy tax and 0.195% for the state tourism tax) in effect at the time of check in. CONFIRMED ROOM RATE: The above room rates are net non-commissionable and are confirmed only for the dates outlined in this agreement. Guests needing to arrive early or extend their stay will be charged the hotel's regular guest room rate on the night(s) not confirmed in this agreement. METHOD OF RESERVATIONS/CUT-OFF DATE Reservations will be made by individual call in. Rooming list must be received by Friday, July 10, 2015. Once the cut-off date has passed, all unused rooms will be released for sale to the general public at the regular room rate GUEST ROOM CHARGES Room and Tax are the responsibility of each individual guest.
