K-AIR MAKES EXECUTIVE FLIGHT MORE ACCESSIBLE An exclusive week-end with friends in Andalusia or in an Austrian chalet, a business meeting to organise in Berlin with your work team or even the excitement of leaving for a tour of European capital cities. So many possibilities; one true solution: K-air. K-air is an Italian airline operating in the business aviation sector. An excellent alternative to commercial flights for a variety of needs: an air taxi service both for on the spot quotations and for the purchase of flight-time packages that can be customised to your individual requirements. With K-air you can customise practically your entire flight: You can choose when to takeoff, from which airport and for which destination, thus avoiding the inconvenience of commercial flights that make travelling tiring and transfers problematic. Good-bye to queuing for check-in, delays, loading baggage and the nerve wracking waiting times for baggage pick-up at the destination airport. K-air also offers a series of interesting accessory services to its clients: Passengers may, in fact, request a complete meal or a light snack with customised menus for on-board dining. Once you reach your destination, K-air can ensure an exclusive car and driver rental service and the possibility of staying in the most exclusive locations thanks to special agreements with the best international hotel chains. K-air is a unique airline on the Italian market in terms of flexibility, professionalism and innovation and, thanks to the extended range of over 2,700 km of its aircraft, it can reach any desired destination in Italy and Europe without the need for refuelling stops. K-air proposes direct flights, aboard entirely Italian aircraft, with qualified personnel that offer a high quality service in complete safety, thanks to the high reliability standards guaranteed by an authentic Airline.
K-air also stands out for its competitive prices. With K-air you can depart from even the smallest airports without having to reach more distant hubs, saving precious travel time. The reduced environmental impact is of particular relevance: All of the K-air aircraft consume up to 40% less fuel compared to jet aircraft of the same category and performance, thus guaranteeing a 25% reduction in emissions, so much so that K-air is excluded from the recent EU regulation on greenhouse gases. HISTORY AND MANAGEMENT K-air was founded in 2009 following the acquisition of an established operator with several decades of experience by GF Group, an international holding with a turnover of 960 million Euros which is also a shareholder in CAI-Alitalia since 2008. Over the years K-air has succeeded in making a name for itself in the Italian field of civil aviation, occupying an uncovered market area and presenting itself as an original and exclusive choice, able to bring together in a single name the seriousness of a solid Owner Group, the professionalism and experience of the entire work team and the prestige of its partners and suppliers - the likes of Ferrari and Piaggio Aero Industries. The K-air operations hub is in Villanova d'albenga and the other operational sites are located in the northern and central areas of the Italian peninsula: Milan Linate, Rome Ciampino, Bologna and Genoa. The current managing director of K-air is Lino Colombo.

THE FLEET: ALL ITALIAN TECHNOLOGY FOR K-AIR AIRCRAFT The K-air fleet is made up of six Piaggio P 180 Avanti II aircraft, the leading Piaggio Aero Industries product and the result of a complex aeronautical engineering project that required years of research and thousands of wind-tunnel tests. Equipped with twin Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-66B engines, it is capable of reaching a maximum certified airspeed of 745 kph at a cruising altitude of 9,450 metres, with a performance superior to that of many jet-powered aircraft. The innovative aerodynamic solutions used to maintain a laminar flow in the airstream around the aircraft, minimise air resistance and maximise fuel efficiency, reducing drag by 34% compared with conventional designs. These technological features result in shorter journey times and lower fuel consumption translating into significant time and cost savings for passengers. Characterised by an innovative aerodynamic line, the fuselage of this aircraft allows for a generously sized cabin space, while minimising aerodynamic drag, thus combining comfort and efficiency. The elegant cabin, 175cm high and 185cm wide, stands out for its superior internal dimensions compared with the normal cabins of aircraft of the same class and is fitted with fully reclining comfortable spacious leather seats which allow maximum freedom of movement and extreme comfort on-board whether for work or rest. The Piaggio P 180 Avanti II is the quietest aircraft in its category. Last but not least, the baggage compartment has a capacity of 1.25m 3 allowing the loading of bulky items and oversized luggage.
FERRARI AND PIAGGIO AERO INDUSTRIES: TOP LEVEL PARTNERS FOR EVER HIGHER FLYING The K-air fleet is further enhanced by the presence of two aircraft which have contributed to making the Piaggio Aero Industries aircraft famous as the "Ferrari of the skies". We are referring to the P 180 Avanti II chosen by the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 racing team for its travel needs, the only aircraft in the world considered worthy of sporting the legendary brand of the Maranello team. Ferrari and the P 180 Avanti II are united by a shared value in high technology combined with stylistic choices and innovative design which have made them "Ambassadors of Italian Excellence" the world over. In choosing the K-air P 180 Avanti II aircraft, the "prancing horse" has in some way returned to its origins: Perhaps not everyone knows that Enzo Ferrari drew inspiration for his badge from the symbol of an airplane. The "rearing horse" was the emblem of Count Francesco Baracca and was painted on the tail of the aircraft of this heroic WWI pilot. Baracca's mother gifted the symbol to Enzo Ferrari in 1923 and since then the "prancing horse" has been the badge of the Scuderia Ferrari, today also exhibited proudly on the livery of the K-Air P 180 Avanti II which paint the blue skies with Ferrari red. The choice of uniting a historic Italian brand as prestigious as Ferrari with K-air is born of the owner s decision to use an Italian carrier for the supply of aircraft like Piaggio Aero Industries, a real guarantee that brings together the top in aeronautical engineering and an incomparable quality.
