Since the fall of the Wall on 9 November 1989, the city has undergone rapid and dramatic change. Unlike any other city, Berlin offers an intense display of German history from the Imperial Era up to the Reunification. It is a creative hub, home to artists, fashion designers, musicians and hedonists.

For any further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact the HTG Office in Berlin: IAGBerlin@htg.eu Thursday, 20 th October 2016 : delegates and companions program ALL WELCOME Arrival in Berlin Grand Hyatt Hotel Berlin Potsdamer Platz, right in the center of Berlin 18:00-19:30 Welcome Reception at HTG Office: Neue Grünstraße 25 (Take underground line U2 from Potsdamer Platz to Spittelmarkt ) SAGE Restaurant Berlin Host HTG will welcome IAG delegates and guests, kicking off the 2016 conference with reception at the headquarter Transfer by bus from HTG Office to the SAGE Restaurant and at 22:30 and 23:30 back to the Hyatt. The restaurant is located directly on the banks of the river Spree. It is situated in a brick-lined building with industrial charm which was turned into an artful urban restaurant. The guests will be served an upscale, creative cuisine.

Finishing right in the centre of power: the Reichstag - the heart of German democracy. Coffee and cake on the rooftop of the parliament building with a panoramic view of the Berlin Skyline. Built in 1894, the historic building was remodelled in the 1990s by the British architect Sir Norman Forster. It was adorned with a modern glass dome, which offers a look into parliamentary proceedings. Joint dinner with Morison KSi Followed by special interest night club group (at own expense) Bus transfer from Hotel to venue and back. This venue with its mirror tended interior and its 1920s charm is famous for old-fashioned cabaret, comedy and excellent food. The Bar jeder Vernunft has been one of the most popular cultural highlights in Berlin for over twenty-five years. Special act will be Gayle Tufts, the well-known stand-up comedian. Buses run back to the hotel at 23:30 pm and 00:30 am.

The boat will pass by some of Berlin s most unique landmarks along the former East and West of Berlin, in that the river divided the tow nations. An English-speaking tour guide will illustrate the Spree s spectacular scenery. To top off a relaxing afternoon, coffee and cake will be served on board. Meeting at the Borchardt Restaurant in the heart of Berlin s city center. The private 1 st floor event area covers the entire floor of a registered landmark building on Berlin s famous Gendarmenmarkt. The style is typical Belle Époque, with high ceilings, beautiful ornaments and hardwood floors. A special 3 course menu will be created with it s usual renowned service.
