Information on how to participate in this Promotion forms part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry. 2. The Promoter is American Express International Inc ( American Express ). 3. The Promotion commences at 00:00 hrs (GMT +8) on Thursday, 12 November 2015 and ends at 23:59 hrs (GMT +8) on Thursday, 31 December 2015 ( Promotion Period ). Limited to the first 15,000 successfully registered Cards only. 4. The Promotion is open to individuals aged 18 years or older who hold American Express Cards issued in Singapore by American Express International Inc. and DBS Bank Ltd ( Eligible Cards ) ( Card Members ). Card Members with American Express Corporate Cards issued in Singapore, American Express Cards issued by United Overseas Bank Limited, Citibank Singapore Limited, EZ-Link American Express Prepaid Cards and all overseas Card Members (i.e. Cards not issued in Singapore), Corporate Purchasing Cards, Corporate Meeting Cards and Business Travel Accounts are not eligible to participate in this Promotion, unless otherwise specifically stated in writing. To qualify, a Card Member s account/s must also be current and in good standing during the Promotion Period, and up to the time when the Cash Rebate is issued. American Express may at its sole discretion, at any time (and from time to time), open this Promotion to any other American Express Cards which are not yet Eligible Cards.
5. In order to participate in this Promotion, the Card Member must first complete the registration process ("Registration") on the website, including identification of the American Express Card for which the registration is made ( Registered Card ). By providing us with your personal information on the registration website, you consent for us to collect, use and disclose your personal information for the purpose of facilitating your participation and providing you with information on the Promotion. The Registration facility on the website will be available during the Promotion Period. Each Card Member who successfully registers for entry in this Promotion is referred to in these Conditions as a "Registered Entrant". If a Card Member has multiple American Express Cards, including a Supplementary Card, a separate Registration is required for each Card. Any Basic and Supplementary Card Members who directly register their Cards and spend amounts with American Express will be eligible for the Promotion, irrespective of the fact that the basic Card Member pays for the supplementary Card Members charges. 6. Card Members only need to register an Eligible Card once to participate in this Promotion. If a Card Member loses his/her Registered Card ( Lost Card ) and applies for a replacement card ( Replacement Card ), he/she will need to register the Replacement Card with the new Card number in accordance with the process specified in section A(5) above. In the event a Registered Entrant is issued with a Replacement Card during the Promotion Period and registers the Replacement Card, the Registered Entrant should contact the customer service number on the back of the Registered Card to try and ensure that spend on both the Lost Card and the Replacement Card are combined for purposes of participation in this Promotion. PROMOTION MECHANICS 1. Card Members only need to register an Eligible Card once to participate in this Promotion. 2. To be eligible for the S$5 Cash Rebate, each Registered Entrant shall spend a minimum of S$35 cumulatively on their Registered Card at Cold Storage, Fairprice, Giant, Isetan Supermarket, Jasons and/or Marketplace ( Outlets ) during Promotion Period. 3. For the purposes of this Promotion, an eligible transaction or eligible spend refers to a payment made with the Registered Card at any Outlet that can be supported by an approved charge slip. 4. The list of Outlets can be found at amexnetwork.com.sg/outlets American Express reserves the right to add, remove or substitute any one or more Outlet(s) at any time during the Promotion Period without giving prior notice to the Card Members or Registered Entrants. 5. The following transactions are not considered eligible transactions or eligible spend for the purposes of the Promotion: a. Returned items; b. Transactions which are subsequently cancelled or refunded; 6. During the Promotion Period, each Card Member is only entitled to receive 6 (six) Cash Rebate worth a total of S$30 per Registered Card. Cash Rebates may take up to 8 weeks to issue but generally, they should be credited within 5 business days upon confirmation by the merchant of the eligible transaction. The Cash Rebate will be paid to you by crediting your Card Account and will be reflected in the following month s statement. American Express may be unable to
apply the Cash Rebate to your Card Account if it has been suspended or cancelled prior to the Cash Rebate being issued. Cash Rebate may be reversed if purchase in relation to the eligible transaction is subsequently returned or cancelled. 7. Decisions of the Promoter are final and no correspondence in relation thereto will be entertained. 8. No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for late, lost or misdirected transactions in respect of this Promotion. 9. Cash Rebates are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash, other payment forms or any other prize, whether in part and/or in full. 10. By registering for this Promotion, the Card Member consents for his or her Eligible Card issuing bank to release details/information about the Card Member to American Express, in order for American Express to fulfill this Promotion. 11. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. 12. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Promotion at any time in its sole discretion without notice to Card Members. 13. American Express is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages of any kind in connection with or arising out of this Promotion. C. Privacy and Security 1. In particular, we will use the personal information provided in relation to this Promotion in the manner as set out herein and may also: (i) (ii) Transfer or disclose your personal information confidentially to American Express related companies or external organisations that provide services in relation to the Promotion. This includes transferring personal information outside of Singapore to the USA, Canada, Australia or other countries for data processing and servicing; Request verification of Card Account status and/or personal information from your Eligible Card issuer.
