Customer Service When it comes to product support, we ve got you covered: Spare parts stock and same day shipping. 24/7 AOG service line and technical support. 24/7 Web access to documents and publications. 8
Boeing Post-Modification Support Applies to aircraft converted by a Boeing Licensed 3 rd Party STC holder, (AEI). Includes four value added features for operators and access to Boeing Technical Support Fee of $58,000 per aircraft per year for fleets fewer than four, with a fleet cap of $213,000 per year. Four features packaged into a single product with these features; Boeing hosts AEI s conversion drawing/data on MyBoeing Fleet.com web portal for one stop on-line access for aircraft digital data. Operator can utilize AEI s or Boeings field service network and Boeing Communication Systems to disposition service requests. A conversion map quickly and efficiently determines whether a service request is to be answered by Boeing or AEI. Boeing provides data and support to AEI for the development of AMOC to future Boeing issued service bulletins. Service requests to AEI or Boeing will continue to be charged to operators according to existing guidelines. New policy does not change support of spare parts and or the reportable issues evaluated per Boeings Continued Operational Safety Program. 9
Bombardier Post-Modification Support Applies to aircraft converted by a Bombardier Licensed 3rd Party STC Holder (AEI), and includes four (4) value added features for the operators. Bombardier will host AEI s conversion drawings/data on Iflybombardier.com web portal for one-stop, 24/7 on-line access for aircraft digital data. Operators can utilize AEI s or Bombardier Technical help to disposition service requests. A conversion map will quickly and efficiently determine whether a service request is to be answered by Bombardier or AEI. Operators will have the option (chargeable) to have the AEI Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) incorporated into their manuals as a customer originated change (COC) subject to a separate agreement. Service request to AEI or Bombardier will continue to be charged to operators according to existing guidelines. 10
Aging Airplane Safety Rule & Widespread Fatigue Damage (WFD) The FAA published its final rule regarding the WFD on November 15, 2010. The rule, which takes effect January 14, 2011, encompasses changes to 14 CFR 25, 14 CFR 26, and 14 CFR121 and 129. It requires manufacturers to establish a limit of validity (LOV) for the engineering data that supports the structural maintenance program. Once an airplane reaches the LOV it must be retired from operation. The LOV values for the airplanes listed below were submitted by Boeing to the FAA on July 12, 2012, and were approved by the FAA at various dates in August 2012. These LOVs have been published in "Airworthiness Limitations (AWLs) and Certification Maintenance Requirements (CMR)" documents, which are now available on MyBoeingFleet.com.
