Click here to view the hosted version. November 1, 2016 Success! Saturday, October 29th, we hosted our first Anniversary party at the NRS Ranch Store in Decatur and what an amazing event it was! The store team was supported by employees from across the NRS/DRI family of brands with participants from Accounting, Purchasing, Marketing, Arena, Warehouse, and NRS Trailers all pitching in to make this event truly special for our customers. Here are a handful of fun facts about the Event: We had approximately 850 vehicles cross the cattle guard between 6 am and 3 pm Saturday - this accounts for a little over 2,500 people visiting the ranch. Our first customer showed up at midnight and slept in her car awaiting the 6am gate opening.

We had four different organizations from Wise County out to assist with either food service, golf cart shuttles or crowd control that day. Our inaugural "Woofapalooza" Dog Costume Contest had 130 total registrations, 101 who actuallycompeted, 44 different types of dogs and 1 goat. 33 of the contestants were 1st time NRS Feed store visitors. We are already planning for next year - what a cool event!! Woofapalooza had 3 vendors: 1) Boyd Veterinary Hospital gave vaccinations 2) Chewy's Hope had dogs available for adoption with 1 dog actually adopted, and 3) Pawtastic Snacks provided a doggy food truck The Woofapalooza judges were from the Decatur High School Ag Department. Our main sponsor was Muenster Dog food, who provided a 3 lb. bag of dog food to every Woofapalooza contestant. 1st place Overal Winner - Best in Show Runner Up - 2nd Place
