DAY 1: NEW YORK CITY - PARIS Thursday Apr 5 2018 Board your transatlantic flight from New York and fly through the night to France DAY 2: CHARTRES - ORLEANS (HOST FAMILY) Friday Apr 6 2018 Meet your French Prometour Tour Director upon arrival at the airport Board your motor coach and travel to Chartres Have a guided visit of the impressive Chartres Cathedral; it is a still place of historical and religious significance for Christian pilgrims Free time to explore the local shops of Chartres, there is always something to look at while in this charming town Board your motor coach and continue on to Orleans; Known for its association with Joan of Arc, the peasant girl who heard God telling her to guide the King in to battle against the English Your host families will welcome you at the school and take you to their home to settle in.
