Budapest walking city tour : Capital of Hungary, Budapest is often referred as the "Pearl of the Danube". The city was created only in the 19th century by the reunion of Buda, Pest and Oduba with the construction of the bridge of chains. You can still see the different aspects of all these former cities nowadays. On the right bank of the Danube lies Buda, historic and former aristocratic area and the Buda Hills. Left bank of the Danube, there is a completely different aspect from the industries developed much later and it became the cultural centre of the capital. Today, you will discover the Pest district : start the tour from the Heroe s square and the Millennium monument to explore the Hungarian history. Then head toward the Andrássy avenue, this long street (2.4 km long) is connecting the city centre to the Városliget park and it is registrered as a Unesco site, it is often compared to the Champs Elysée. Visit the Saint Etienne Basilic, one of the highest building in Budapest, it was built as a tribute to the first Hungarian King. Its construction took many years and finally inaugurated during Sissi era by her husband, Francois Joseph 1rst. Photo stop at the Budapest Opera and finish the tour in the theatre area. Vienne walking City Tour : Welcome to Vienna, the city of many nicknames : City of Music thanks to a very popular classical music style, the City of Dreams because of Freud or City of Arts for its vast composition of theatres, operas With a guided tour, explore the Old town registered at the UNESCO patrimony : the Ringstrasse, the most beautiful avenue in the world surrounded by historic monuments and the city centre. You will see different styles with the symbolic Sezessionsstil (the Secession Palace), the Karlsplatz, this square is one of the most animated part in the city, St Etienne cathedral (Stephansdom), the Vienna Opera House. The visit will also be a chance to talk about many great music writers such as Mozart, Strauss It will end at the Hofburg Palace to know more about the Imperial empire. Entrances not included.
Prague walking City Tour Capital of Czech Republic, Prague is a really magical city in the heart of Central Europe. Romantic city crossed by the Vltava river, this city has 100 bell towers and is rumoured to have one of the best beer in Europe. It could be separated in 4 areas : the Malá Strana (the baroque district), the Hradčany (the castle disctrict), the Staré Město (Old town), the Nové Město (despite the name meaning New town, it contains very old and historic buildings) and the Vyšehrad (where used to stood the first Prague castle which offers a panoramic view over Prague and the River). With your guide, start in Staré Město to see some medieval churches, palaces and the Klementinum (former Jesuit college) but on the main interest is the Old town Square and its Astronomical clock, then you admire the Charle s Brigde wonderful sculptures and finish in the Malá Strana, the baroque area where lies many palaces and gardens, St Nicolas church, and the Kampa foundation (modern art) and the national music museum. Entrances not included. Krakow walking city tour : Krakaw was the capital of Poland before Warsaw and often considered as the centre of the country because of its ancient history. It is still the scientific and cultural place of Poland with its university (Second oldest university in Central Europe). The city centre is registered in the UNESCO sites and named European capital of culture in 2000. Meet your guide and visit the Old town named the Stare miasto where there is a mixture of different architectural styles (gothic, renaissance and baroque). Discover the Rynek, the main square full of live, the Wawell castle, the Sukiennice, one of the oldest market centre where you can find different sorts of crafts, the Jagellon University where Copernic, Faust and Jean Paul II, Ste Mary s basilica (in supplement) with its asymmetrical towers. Entrances not included. Warsaw hop on hop off at leisure tour : Warsaw is the capital of Poland and the biggest city of the country. Between technology and traditions, the famous music writer Chopin used to live in Warsaw and had a special attachment to Warsaw, his heart was transported there when he died. If you go to Warsaw, you cannot miss the popular district of Praga (right bank of Varsovie) and have to take the royal route from the Castle to the Lazienki park. The Old town of Warsaw is very special as the centre was rebuilt after the second World War and stop at the Monument of Warsaw Uprising, the Barbican. Discover the city of Warsaw at your own speed aboard a City Sightseeing double-decker bus. With 10 stops along the route, hop on and off at major landmarks. Hop off to wander through the UNESCO-listed Old Town on foot or explore the open-air cafes and Renaissance and Baroque architecture of the medieval market square. You can also soak up a little shopping time at the Zlote Tarasy Shopping Center.
Berlin walking and bus City Tour : Berlin has many faces. From the remains of the walls to its vibrant culture and development, the city presents many sites and aspects that will satisfy all visitors. With a lot of history and remains of the World War II such as the remains of the Wall, Checkpoint Charlie museum, the Kaiser Wilhem church Memorial and of course the Brandenburg gate that became a symbol of reunification. Berlin is also famous for the Island Museum including 5 museums, one of them contains the famous bust of the ancient Egyptian Queen, Nefertiti. This tour of Berlin will showcase some of the most notable places in the city. Among the sights are Potsdamer Platz, which is one of the most popular attractions of New Berlin, the Gendarmenmarkt, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe and the Alexanderplatz with it s 123m-high hotel building and the Fernsehturm (TV Tower), which dominate the square.
