DELHI-AGRA Dates of Travel 22 nd December 2017 to 24 th December 2017 Total Duration of program 02 Nights 03 Days ITINERARY Day 01: Friday, 22nd December 2017 Arrive New Delhi & Drive to Agra (Approx 220 Kilometres / 05 Hours) Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri 6E-837 (Indigo Flight) Departure Cochin at 02:00 Hours and arrival New Delhi at 05:15 Hours Arrive in to Delhi and drive to Agra. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, it is 40 Kilometres from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Later drive back to Agra & Leave for local sightseeing in Agra, visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Agra. Meals included Buffet dinner at the hotel. Day 2: Saturday, 23rd December 2017 Agra visit Taj Mahal & Later drive back to Delhi (Approx 220 Kilometres / 05 Hours) Enroute visit Akshardham Temple After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later drive to Delhi & en route to the hotel visit the world famous Akshardham Temple. Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight in Delhi. Meals included Buffet breakfast and buffet dinner at the hotel Day 3: Sunday, 24 th December 2017 Delhi sightseeing & Later departure to the Delhi airport for your onward destination Early morning after breakfast proceed for half day sightseeing of Delhi visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Van the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199. Later drive back to hotel and check out then proceed to Delhi international airport for your return journey.
