Outside Lounge with sea view Dining areas Pool with Jacuzzi Outdoor Gym area with sea view Private sea side with umbrella and sun beds Area Positano, with its buildings cling in tiers to the rock face, is an iconic Amalfi town. The small houses, all huddling on top of each other, form the subject of endless photos. For a long time, travelers love the white buildings, the bright flowers which decorate the houses and the small artisans' shops with their multihued cloths. In 1953, John Steinbeck wrote: Positano bites deep. It is a dream place that isn t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone.' More than 50 years later, his words still ring true. The best way to get around Positano is by foot. There are dozens of narrow alleys and stairways that make walking relatively easy and joyously traffic-free. Otherwise, an orange bus follows the lower ring road every half-hour, passing along Viale Pasitea, Via Cristoforo Colombo and Via Marconi. Positano is one of the thirteen towns that comprise the Amalfi Coast. It is ideally situated to explore other nearby towns such as Ravello, Amalfi & Sorrento. The Amalfi Coast has been declared one of Unesco s World Heritage Sites for its undisputed beauty and the uniqueness of its natural landscape.
