THE ITINERARY DAY 01- BUENOS AIRES Arrival transfer from the International airport to the hotel. Accommodation. This Cosmopolitan city can be a superlative introduction to an exploration of Argentina. European in appearance, Buenos Aires can keep any culture-oriented visitor busy indefinitely. Whatever the date of arrival there will be chances to participate in cultural events, or be delighted with the best polo in the world (the national team remains unbeaten for several decades), excellent football / soccer or discover the local gaucho game of pato, a sort of basketball on horseback. Morning 2 hour walking tour in the surroundings of the hotel. There are multiple approaches: Historic Walk Cafes & bookstores Architecture of the first days of Buenos Aires Buenos Aires Today Nature prevails in Buenos Aires. Afternoon visit of the city of Buenos Aires. The Four Balconies of Buenos Aires is an exclusive visit in which a guide, professor of the University, uses four parks and plazas to introduce passengers to the city, its history, its everyday life and the peculiar psychology of the porteño, the inhabitant of Buenos Aires. DAY 04 - BUENOS AIRES PUERTO IGUAZU Transfer to the domestic airport to fly to Puerto Iguazu. Arrival in Puerto Iguazu, meet and greet and transfer to the hotel located in the small city of Puerto Iguazu. Balance of the day at leisure to explore the area and enjoy the nice coast of the Iguazu River. Full day exploring the amazing Iguazu falls in a private car. After a first stop at the visitor s center we will board a fun small train which connects the most interesting areas of the park: the Upper and lower trails and the Devil s Throat. Navigation upstream the Iguazu River to approach the amazing Devil s Throat, the most imposing of the falls. Afternoon return to the hotel. DAY 06- PUERTO IGUAZU BUENOS AIRES BARILOCHE ARGENTINA BEYOND IMAGINATION Transfer to the airport to fly to San Carlos de Bariloche via Buenos Aires. Afternoon arrival transfer from the airport to the hotel. Accommodation. Balance of the day at leisure. Start this unique experience in Bariloche, gateway to the northern Patagonian Andes and a world known beautiful mountain resort. It is located in one of the most important national parks in Argentina: the Nahuel Huapi National Park. Various mountains, glaciers, lakes and rivers are notable for its magnificent beauty. DAY 07- FD VICTORIA ISLAND NAVIGATION. ARGENTINA BEYOND IMAGINATION We start the tour with a transfer to the pier and after sailing 30 minutes, we arrive at Anchorena Port on the huge Victoria Island. Various trails lead to different parts of the islands in which we will be able to appreciate both the native as well as the introduced species of trees as well as fauna. Apart from rock paintings the islands is famous for its community of pudu deer (pudu pudu). Free time for lunch. We resume our trip and sail northwest towards Quetrihué Peninsula to visit the world famous Bosque de Arrayanes (myrtle wood), which is absolutely unique and harbors centenary trees. This wood has been declared intangible area and a natural monument within the boundaries of the National Park. Following the well marked trails we will visit this amazing and seemingly enchanted wood to then return to Bariloche by boat. Hotel: Hotel View (Standard room); Design Suites (Junior Suite room). DAY 08- BARILOCHE Day at leisure. There are some options to explore the area such as: FD TRONADOR MOUNT Full day visit to Mt. Tronador, (the highest peak in Northern Patagonia), an extinct volcano 11722 feet/3554 m high whose name refers to the frequent rumbles caused by ice falling from the face of several glaciers (ventisqueros) than cling to the mountain s three peaks. On the way we visit the Gutierrez and Mascardi Lakes and have an amazing view of the Southern Wall of the Mt. Tronador. Free time to hike in the area and visit the Alerces Cascade. HIKE & KAYAK The city of Bariloche provides an excellent base and easy access to different adventure activities throughout the year. Instead of offering a packaged day-program with fixed itineraries, we offer diverse programs in the diverse environments available in the Lake District of Patagonia: dessert, forest, high alpine terrain, glacier and lakes.
