The Museo Submarino O'Brien. This museum is mounted inside of a submarine of the Navy of Chile, which is anchored in the Valdivia Riverside. This ship is 90 meters long. In its years of operations, it had a staff of 8 officers and 65 crew. After visiting this unique museum you can learn about the lives of the crew under the sea. They work from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 20:00 hrs. During the summer works all day open all day from 10:00 to 20:00 hrs. Spanish Fortifications Travel back into Valdivia s past by walking around the area s fortifications. Be amazed by one of the largest fort and castle systems built by the Spaniards in the entire continent.
