Test drive 1 THE MOSELLE VALLEY FROM SCHENGEN TO WASSERBILIG The road runs along the Moselle river to Wasserbilig, crossing the wine-growing villages nestled at the bottom of the valley. The river flows peacefully between Luxembourg and Germany forming part of the border between these two countries. The scenery is full of tranquility and prosperity, with gently sloping hills planted with vines on very high stakes. Total distance : 45 km SUGGESTIONS: Take a break in the small village of Ahn and stop by the restaurant Mathes set along the Moselle surrounded by vines. Enjoy its modern cuisine, garden terrace and panoramic views. Coffee & Lunch Test drive 2 LUXEMBOURG'S 'LITTLE SWITZERLAND' Approximately 35 km, lasting half a day, although it is worth spending a full day on this tour, taking time for enjoyable travel in the woods and among the rocks. Start at Echternach, the capital of the Little Switzerland and one of the most beautiful towns in Luxembourg, surrounded by wooded hills. On leaving Echternach, drive along the Sûre river. The road then enters the Mullerthal (the Millers' Valley), a paradise with lush meadows crossed by a river interspersed with little waterfalls! The imposing castles of Vianden, Bourscheid or Esch-sur-Sûre are living witnesses of the medieval past of the country. It is also in the North of Luxembourg that you'll find the two largest nature reserves in the country: the Naturpark Our and the Naturpark Öewersauer.
