DAY 1 VISITOR S PLACE/AREA - JOHANNESBURG - PRETORIA We will arrive at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. Our guide will meet us at the airport. From here we will travel to Pretoria. Tonight we will enjoy dinner DAY 2 BRITS - PRETORIA After breakfast we will pay a visit to the Embassy of the visitors if is any in PTA After our visit we will travel to the town of Brits. Here we will visit Embryo plus Centre The centre specialises in embryo transfers and has established a worldwide reputation. In recent years it has exported approximately 12 000 embryos to places such as Canada, the USA, Brazil, Argentina, Australia and many African countries. Breeds like the Brahman, Simmentaler, Bonsmara, Sentrapol, Boran, Brangus, Redpole, Simbra, Angus and South Devon can be seen. At the centre Futhi, the first animal to be cloned in Africa, was cloned. Dr Morne de la Rey will be our host. We will also visit Inyoni Crocodile Estate (time). Although this is a tourist attraction, the farm is a commercial farm and at present there are more than 12 000 crocodiles. All the crocodiles on the farm are Nile crocodiles (Crocodylus Niloticus). We will enjoy lunch at the estate. Return to Pretoria. DAY 3 CULLINAN - BELFAST - PRIVATE GAME RESERVE After breakfast we will travel to the town of Cullinan; here we will visit the protea farm of Japie van Staden called Doornkraal (time). The protea is the national flower of South Africa. There are more than 50 000 protea plants on the farm and more than 100 different varieties. After the visit we will travel to the town of Belfast. Here we will visit the farm of Gerrit Roos, called Leeubank (12:00). Gerrit farms with approximately 4 000 German merino sheep, Tuli and Pinzgauer (A dual purpose breed) cattle breeds, corn and soy bean. We will enjoy lunch on the farm. From here we will travel to a private game reserve. This beautiful private game reserve embraces more than 8 000 hectares of Malaria-free, unspoiled African bushveld.

Tonight we will enjoy a special boma dinner. After dinner a wildlife expert will address us about game farming in South Africa. DAY 4 PRIVATE GAME RESERVE - PANORAMA ROUTE - HAZYVIEW Before breakfast we will enjoy our first game drive. We will also learn more about their sable project: the breeding and marketing of these unique antelopes. The sable is one of the rarest antelopes in Africa. After breakfast we will explore the amazing natural splendour of the Panorama route. We will view spectacular wonders like the Three Rondavels at the Blyde River Canyon and Bourke s Luck Potholes. The Blyde River Canyon, a gigantic gorge, is one of the natural wonders of Africa. This canyon is the largest green canyon in South Africa. Bourke s Luck Potholes were named after Tom Bourke, who discovered gold there at the influence of the Treur and Blyde Rivers. The potholes are deep cylindrical holes formed by the action of the sand and rock carried down by the rivers when in flood. This afternoon we will visit Sabie Valley Coffee Farm. They have been producing Arabica coffee since 1984 and are one of only four coffee farms in South Africa. The owner, Tim Buckland, will be our host. After our visit we will travel to Hazyview. DAY 5 KRUGER NATIONAL PARKS - HAZYVIEW Our game guides will pick us up at Phabeni gate. We will spend the whole day in the Kruger National Park and will travel with 4x4 vehicles. The Kruger National Park was the first national park to be proclaimed (1926) in South Africa. The park covers an area of 21 497km² and extends over a distance of approximately 380 km from the Limpopo River, South Africa s northern frontier, to the Crocodile River in the south. We will enjoy lunch at Skukuza Rest Camp. We will be back at the hotel at approximately time. DAY 6 HAZYVIEW - MIDDELBURG - JOHANNESBURG - CAPE TOWN After breakfast we will return to Johannesburg. En route we will visit Beestepan Farm (11:30). These 17 000 hectares of farmland is a family owned business and they farm with corn (6 800 ha); potatoes (300 ha

planted under irrigation); sugar beans (360 ha); soy beans (300 ha) and cattle (8 400 ha). We will enjoy lunch on the farm. We will fly to Cape Town. DAY 7 STELLENBOSCH - CAPE TOWN After breakfast we will travel to Stellenbosch. We will visit Beyerskloof Wine Estate (time). They are famous for their Pinotage wine. Pinotage is a South African cultivar; it was created in 1925 by Professor AI Perold from an Hermitage (Cinsaut)-Pinot Noir crossing. We will enjoy a wine tasting. We will also visit Kayamandi (time). Kayamandi (Xhosa for nice home ) is a black township at the outskirts of Stellenbosch. A local black guide will take us on a walking tour. We learn more about the Xhosa culture and history. We will enjoy a traditional Xhosa lunch in the township. After lunch we will have time to explore Stellenbosch. Stellenbosch is the second oldest town in South Africa and was founded in 1679. This town is renowned for its Cape Dutch buildings, university and wine. DAY 8 CAPE TOWN This morning we will visit Robben Island (time). In 1999 Robben Island became only the second place in the world after Hiroshima in Japan to be declared a World Heritage Site for its importance as both a cultural and historical shrine and the world s most powerful symbol of resistance to oppression. One of the main attractions for tourists is the tiny cell in which Nelson Mandela was incarcerated. This afternoon we will have time to explore the V & A Waterfront. The V & A Waterfront is one of the most popular tourist attractions in South Africa. Main features include the glittering Victoria Wharf shopping mall, large covered craft markets, a huge food emporium, a working brewery and the state-of-the-art Two Oceans Aquarium (For own account). Tonight we will enjoy dinner at the name of the Restaurant at the V & A Waterfront

DAY 9 CAPE PENINSULA Today we will experience the splendour of the Cape Peninsula. We will travel along the Atlantic coast. Our destination is the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Nearly 8 000 hectares of indigenous fynbos (fine bush) cover the reserve and about 1 200 plant species have been recorded in the area. We will also visit Boulders Penguin Colony in Simons Town. It is home to a unique and endangered land-based colony of African Penguins. This colony is one of only a few in the world. We will also visit the world famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Kirstenbosch is the headquarters of South Africa s National Botanic Gardens and is the premier centre for the study and propagation of South Africa s indigenous flora. It covers 560 hectares filled with over 6 000 species of trees and plants. We will also visit Table Mountain (Weather permitting). Table Mountain Park protects a staggering 2 285 plant species and is home to a number of species found nowhere else in the world, including the endangered Table Mountain ghost frog, the Table Mountain beauty (butterfly) and the well-known silver tree. DAY 10 DURBANVILLE - PAARL - CAPE TOWN After breakfast (name of person), an agricultural manager at First National Bank, will address us (time). We will travel to Durbanville; here we will visit De Grendel dairy farm (time). It is home to the oldest registered Holstein herd in South Africa. There are currently 180 Holstein cows and 60 Jersey cows. Japie Sadie will be our host. After our visit we will travel to the town of Paarl; here we will visit Vesuvio Estates (time). We will learn more about the planting, growing and maintenance of olive trees. We will visit the factory where the olives are received, pressed and bottled. We will also enjoy an olive and olive oil tasting. Tonight we will enjoy dinner. DAY 11 MOORREESBURG CAPE TOWN After breakfast we will travel to the town of Moorreesburg. Moorreesburg is a major wheat-distributing town. Here we will visit the wheat museum (time).

We will also visit Hooggeleë farm, situated in the vicinity of the town (time). Hooggeleë is a wheat farm and Hein Mostert will address us about agriculture in this region. Hein will also tell us about their Nguni stud. The Nguni is an indigenous breed, long the mainstay of traditional Zulu culture, and are possibly the most beautiful cattle in the world, with their variously patterned and multi-coloured hides everywhere in demand. We will enjoy lunch on the farm. We will also visit Uitvlugt farm, a potatoes farm, where we will learn more about potatoes farming in South Africa (Time). Tonight we will enjoy a special dinner at (name of Restaurant time). Before dinner we will enjoy an interactive djembe drumming session at 18:30. We will enjoy a taste safari with a set 14 course menu, experiencing African cuisine. During dinner Mali Puppets will dance around the tables with drummers and singers. DAY 12 CAPE TOWN - JOHANNESBURG - FLIGHT BACK HOME After breakfast we will enjoy a city tour of Cape Town. At Time (Flight no) we will fly to Johannesburg. We will arrive in Johannesburg at Time.
