ALPS- SILVRETTA SKI TOURING 2013 TYPOLOGY HAUTE ROUTE 4 days DIFFICULTY F MIN PERSONS 6/8 GUIDE 1 mountain guide UIAGM PERIOD 25-28 april 2013 The Silvretta group is located along the Austrian-Swiss border just south of the popular ski resort of St. Anton. The massif is covered with large glaciers and many peaks possible to climb with ski. Although the peaks are not particularly high, with most of the highest peaks between 3200 and 3300 meters (10,000 to 11,000 feet) in height, there are very steep mountains. And the passes we go through every day seem magical doors to the next valleys.. This tour offers many options for various ski ascents (and descents) that are difficult to describe. All of these options give us the opportunity to adjust itinerary according the conditions in the moment. There are also options for the more ambitious among us to climb more additional peaks as we ski from hut to hut. Many of the huts of the Silvretta are managed by the German Alpine Club (DAV) and are known for their spaciousness and comfort. Many have showers, and looks more like hotel alpine mountain huts. TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1.Participants should be aware of the risks involved in sports actvites in mountain environment and must therefore have a proper physical preparaton in relaton to the actvity they want to join. 2.It is not necessary that the partcipants are members of any club or an associaton. 3.The planned programs are subject to change during the course because of the weather situaton or environmental conditons. 4.In case of of failure to reach the the minimum number of partcipants, the quotas will be increased in proporton or the trip will be canceled. In this case the paid deposit will be refunded. 5.If weather or environmental conditons require it, the program can be changed and / or canceled. In accordance with the partcipants is possible to change or reduce the dura2on of a program. 6.The partcipaton fee is individual, and includes mountain guiding support, hiking guides and ski instructors and everything else writen in Include sec2on of the programs. 7.The list of technical equipment, clothing, food and medicine will be sent before each departure. 8.MLG mountain guides provides technical materials for common use for the needs of the expeditions and the trips. For a personal equipment we can в can help with advice, assistance to purchase a discount or rental of materials. 9.To provide insurance and discounts in the huts, subscribing REGA and an Alpine Club is recommended. 10.A cancelation insurance (like ETI) must be signed prior to inscription for the trips. 11.
