Before joining Littler Mexico as a shareholder, Enrique was a partner in the labor department and managed the Monterrey office of another leading law firm for over 10 years. Enrique has comprehensive experience in cross-border operations with major international companies specifically in the northeastern territories of Mexico. He also has extensive experience in representing multinational companies in complex trials of expatriates and negotiating collective agreements with unions at a regional level. Enrique has been involved in restructuring of several companies through the mergers and acquisitions processes including employer replacement, union negotiations and internal communication with employees. He is the author of several articles on labor matters, and he also participates frequently as a speaker at conferences regarding labor and employment law in Mexico and abroad. In addition to his law degree, Enrique completed postgraduate studies at Universidad de Nuevo León, Universidad Panamericana and Universidad de Salamanca in Madrid, Spain.
