Nearby Vilanculos Airport can be reached via a direct two hour flight from Johannesburg with Airlink or via Maputo on Mozambique Airlines. The short island hop to our private island is a mere 15 minute flight from Vilanculos Airport with Solenta. Voltage Currency Time Zone Climate 220 AC, 50 Hertz The Metical (MZM) is the official currency of Mozambique. All resorts, hotels and most souvenir shops accept major credit cards, including Visa and Master Card. The most frequently used foreign currency is the US Dollar and almost all items are priced in US Dollars.
