CHAIRMAN S SPOT Dear Members, Another ski season has come to an end and summer is just around the corner! Time for a rest maybe - but, your committee is currently planning some social events and the next ski holidays for 2017! We hope that more of you will come and join in with some of the social events: we will send out e-mail notices and an alert on the website - so please keep watching!! Janet has been very busy planning the club s ski holiday for March 2017! This will be Chalet Hotel Charlotte in Serre Chevalier, with Ski Miquel on 5th March 2017 (Sunday flights to Turin) - please contact Janet as soon as possible, as deposits will be required to confirm your booking! There is a possible holiday being planned for April 2016 as well. Although it is the summer season, we are planning a number of Gastronomic experiences plus the usual club meet at the Green Dragon in Dronfield on the 4th Wednesday every month. This is a good opportunity to catch up on the news and share memories of holidays and social events. Your committee is currently planning the November Week-end - and this year we are looking to return to the Yorkshire Coast! The week-end break will be circulated to all members as soon as we ve firmed up the details. Finally, I would like to wish you all a happy summer - where ever you get to, and don t forget to take plenty of photos to share at our next meeting! Sue Mason HSC Chairman Page 1

SKI HOLIDAYS 2017 5-12 March 2017: Serre Chevalier Staying in the Chalet Hotel Charlotte in Serre Chevalier, with Ski Miquel (Sunday flights to Turin). It s in the village of Monetier, and is about 5 minutes walk to the slopes; however, there is a ski bus stop right outside the chalet if you prefer not to walk! There are still a few places left so let me know if you interested as soon as possible! Flights available from Manchester & Gatwick. 8 April 2017 Nothing has been booked yet but we re looking at a chalet in Arcs 2000 with Skiworld. They were excellent for this year s trip to La Rosiere. I need to know who would definitely be interested in coming before I book anything as they won t hold the chalet for long without deposits. Please contact me to let me know if you re interested in this trip so I can get it booked! Janet - 0114 2661135/07773079280 or janet@droza.plus.com Club Membership now due We will send you an email with a link to a renewal form in a PDF style document on the web site.
