Offered throughout the park s four-mile footprint, Hudson River Park s dance, music and film events deliver a diverse audience from all five boroughs of New York City and the surrounding tri-state area. 5 Sports, Health & Fitness The Park offers a wide variety of sports and athletic activities. Every day of the year you can find active park patrons taking full advantage of the many facilities along the four-mile footprint. Hudson River Park Games o A one-of-a-kind event, celebrating the Park s world-class recreational opportunities through three main components: Team Pentathlon, Fear the Pier and Community Fest Healthy on the Hudson Fitness Series o Hudson River Park provides a variety of fitness classes at multiple locations in the Park from Spring through Fall Facilities Skate Parks o Tribeca: 8,840 square feet o Pier 62: 15,000 square feet Tennis Courts o Canal St.: two (2) doubles and one (1) singles court Basketball Courts o Harrison St., Canal St. and Chelsea Waterside Park Athletic Fields o Pier 40: Three and a half (3.5) acres of recreation field space. Average of 250,000+ athletes and active park patrons use the fields annually o Chelsea Waterside Park: 32 yard x 60 yard all-purpose outdoor turf field
6 Family The Park provides an excellent platform to engage families in enriching entertainment and environmental programming. Using the waterfront as our stage and outdoor classroom, families can laugh and learn while enjoying performances, citizen science and hands-on STEM activities. 7 Environmental Stewardship Hudson River Park is committed to conserving and advancing public awareness of the Park s four-acre protected Estuarine Sanctuary through the implementation of a robust portfolio of enrichment programming, environmental initiatives and scientific research. Friends of Hudson River Park, the Park s nonprofit entity, has built networks in the local community that can be activated to highlight your brand as a fellow member of the Park community.
