SLOVENSKI PREVOD IZJAVE APIMONDIJA JE POTRDILA 20. MAJ ZA SVETOVNI DAN ČEBEL IZJAVA ZA JAVNOST ČEBELARSKE ZVEZE SLOVENIJE IN MEDNARODNE ČEBELARSKE ORGANIZACIJE APIMONDIA V Daejeonu, Južni Koreji te dni poteka mednarodni čebelarski kongres Apimondia 2015. Apimondia združuje čebelarje in znanstvenike s področja čebelarstva s celega sveta, vanjo je vključenih 125 čebelarskih iz 86 držav. Na letošnji generalni skupščini Apimondije, ki je potekala v sredo 16. septembra je bila s strani predstavnikov Čebelarske zveze Slovenije predstavljena pobuda, da se 20. maj razglasi za Svetovni dal čebel, v okviru organizacije Združenih narodov. Pobuda je bila med delegati in vodstvom Apimondie sprejeta z navdušenjem in je bila soglasno sprejeta. Dejan Židan, Minister za kmetijstvo, gozdarstvo in prehrano in podpredsednik Vlade Republike Slovenije, je v pismu delegatom Apimondie zagotovil, da bo država Slovenija storila vse, da skupaj z državami podpornicami razglasimo Svetovni dan čebel, v okviru Združenih narodov. Verjame, da bo mednarodno združevanje, v skrbi za čebele, prispevalo k doseganju boljših rezultatov v ohranjanju čebel in razvoju čebelarstva. Boštjan Noč, predsednik Čebelarske zveze Slovenije je izpostavil, da bo 16. september za vedno zapisan v zgodovino čebelarstva. Ta dan smo čebelarji s celega sveta podprli predlog Čebelarske zveze Slovenije, da se 20. maj razglasi za Svetovni dan čebel. 20. maj-svetovni dan čebel je dan, ko je bil rojen Anton Janša (Slovenija). Maj je na severni polobli mesec najbujnejšega razvoja čebel, ko se številčnost čebeljih družin poveča do te mere, da se družine rojijo, kar je njihov naravni način razmnoževanja. V tem obdobju so čebele najbolj številčne, potrebe po opraševanju pa največje. Na južni polobli pa je to jesenski čas, spravila čebeljih pridelkov in tako dnevi in tedni medu. Brez čebel ni opraševanja, ni hrane, brez čebel si življenja ne znamo predstavljati. Zato je prav, da se vsaj enkrat letno spomnimo čebel. Čebelarji celega sveta pa imejmo ta dan svoj praznik, saj si čebele svoj dan nedvomno zaslužijo. Gilles Rattia, predsednik Apimondije v svoji izjavi:» Napočil je čas, da se politiki pričnejo zavedati pomembnosti čebel za kmetijstvo in na tem mestu bi rad čestital Sloveniji, članici Apimondije za izvrstno pobudo, da se proglasi Svetovni dan čebel. Prihodnje generacije nam bodo zelo hvaležne«. Phillip McCabe, naslednji predsednik Apimondie, čestita Čebelarski zvezi Slovenije za odlično pobudo, ki je edinstvena v zgodovini Apimodie. Čebele so zelo pomembne za človeštvo, trenutno se srečujemo z veliki izgubami čebeljih družin po celem svetu. Z veseljem oznanjamo, da je Vlada RS pobudo, da se 20. maj razglasi za Svetovni dan čebel že podprla, ob tem pa ji Apimondia trdno stoji ob strani.
