I just got back. Sorry for late reply. The trekking Merapi is amazing. Hell of an experience and adventure. Felt so good to be above clouds. Everything was ok till the very last part of our trek. Our guide led us a short cut up to the peak which was too dangerous and scary. I read in many travel blogs where the way to peak is throgh a slope that is relative flat. My friend almost cried. We didnt expect to be going that way where there were ony big rocks and great steepness. So afraid that the rocks collapse or we slipped. The guide was too fast. In anyway, we survived! Still made it to the top in time to catch beautiful sunrise of Merapi. Thank you for the your great arrangement!
