Middle distance Open to semi-open hilly terrain covered with numerous rock boulders with patches of planted pine trees, part of the popular boulder climbing area Kamena Baba, with good visibility and runnability.

About Prilep: Prilep, the 4th largest city in Macedonia with population of 70 000 people is the birthplace of Macedonian mountaineering and has a long tradition in orienteering. Surrounded by breathtaking rocky landscape and located below Treskavec Monastery: medieval fortress (Markovi Kuli), Prilep has a rich cultural and spiritual heritage. Located below Zlatovrv peak, with a breathtaking view of the Pelagonia plain, Treskavec Monastery represents a long spiritual history starting from an antique temple of Apolon, through a 5th - 6nd century basilica, with the main structure of the present monastery built in 11th October, Revolution Day 12th century. About Pece Atanasoski (1949-2009) We organise this orienteering competition in memory of Pece Atanasoski, our beloved orienteering trainer and second father, with whom we embraced and lived orienteering. May his hard work, enthusiasm and dedication be remembered for many years. We will never forget!
