OBER Main airports experienced an increase in traffic during October (e.g. Paris CDG, Frankfurt, London Heathrow, Munich, Amsterdam, Rome Fumicino, Barcelona etc ). The largest increase in traffic was recorded at Istanbul Ataturk and Las Palmas. The largest decreases were experienced in Athens, Dublin and Birmingham. Venezia recorded.% increase due to the temporary closure of Treviso s airport. Ten air operators had double digit growth in October. Of the top airlines, Air Berlin saw a 7. reduction in traffic in October, but its subsidiary Niki saw a corresponding increase (9. %). Czech Airlines (-.%) and Iberia (-8.7%) both saw decreases due to their network restructuring. Unidentified operators (mainly General Aviation) recorded a decrease of 7.9% in October. Several airlines would have cancelled flights during Greek industrial action, e.g. it is estimated that around 85 flights were cancelled on 4-5 October. Issued: November Page: to Edition: FINAL

OBER The increase of.9% in Latvia (Riga ACC) is due to its joining the IFPS in March. The decrease in Malta is due to Libyan airspace closure contributing to the traffic increase along the Adriatic coast. Traffic decreased in Greek ACCs as traffic rerouted. As a result there was additional traffic in Ankara, Sofia and Istanbul and less in Skopje and Beograde ACCs. Issued: November Page: to Edition: FINAL
