1 Battersea Power Station Pier Travel from Embankment Pier to Battersea Power Station Pier within 14 minutes. The Power Station Battersea Power Station is the largest brick building in Europe and once generated enough electricity to power the whole of London. De-commissioned in 1983, the Power Station is currently undergoing redevelopment which, on completion in 2020, will see it permanently opened to the public for the first time.
