Welcome to The Grand Mark is situated in Hybernska street, a perfectly located 5* hotel settled right next to the most attractive sightseeing landmarks. From hotel balconies you can see the Powder Tower, one of the most well known icons of Prague. The history of the building reaches back to the 15 th century, when it was formerly built as a baroque palace. The first property reconstruction happened in 1928 and the second one in 2008. During the last renovation a many neoclassical items were discovered and restored. The beauty of the architecture was moreover enhanced with modern art placed all around the hotel. The official hotel opening was in October 2008 and since this time guests have been accommodated in 75 spacious rooms and suites. Every room is unique and offers the highest standard of comfort, starting from double floored suites through rooms with balconies to the largest suites with private terraces and Jacuzzi. 3
Accommodation possibilities 14 modern equipped rooms and 61 luxury suites are spread over 3500 m 2. With the average size of rooms over 50 m² The Grand Mark offers the most spacious accommodation in Prague. All suites have separate bedroom, huge living room and kitchen corner. At higher floors guests can appreciate the unique view over Prague roofs from private balconies and terraces. The biggest available room is the Presidential Suite situated on the 7 th floor. First class space offers cosy comfort and absolute privacy with a view into the calm hotel garden. The room space with over 140 m 2 allows for conversion itself into a meeting space where guests can have their coffee breaks on the private outside terrace.. 4
Dining in The Grand Mark Style The Chef Ondřej Koráb prepares specialities inspired by International and Czech cuisine. With his art he counts on simple and fresh preparation of all dishes in Le Grill Restaurant. Produce delivered by local farmers and picked from our hotel herb garden are the main structure of every menu. Due to the culinary ideology the hotel menu is changed every month according to the season. The only one item which is available in the restaurant for whole year is our signature dessert The Grand Mark cake. Apart from the seasonal menus Le Grill prepares for its guests many other delights. Every day all year round anybody can enjoy a very British tradition the Afternoon Tea where one can sip tea, taste the finest finger foods and relish a sparkling wine. For business purposes Le Grill offers of Business Lunches served in the calm Conservatory area. For outside dining enthusiasts the hotel Garden BBQs take place every evening during the warm-weather months (May- September). Here guests can choose from a wide selection of grilled meat, fish and vegetable, freshly made salads and home-made desserts. Le Grill guests can enjoy their dishes in various areas. There is the option of the elegantly equipped restaurant with Murano chandelier, a light Lobby Lounge with glass ceiling and warm fireplace area or the arched Two Steps bar with intimate atmosphere and modern conservatory with garden view. At last but not least there is the hotel Baroque garden with high trees, flower beds and fabulous lion water fountain. 5
Meet the Chef - Ondřej Koráb Ondřej Koráb is one of the few Czech chefs who have learned from Michelin masters. He acquired the best skills during his 4 years spent in different Michelin restaurants in London. The best experience was given to him by chef Chris Staines, with whom he cooked in Foliage restaurant. Another top mentors that Koráb can be proud of is French gourmet Daniel Boulud and the world renowned promoter of molecular cuisine Heston Blumenthal. After Koráb s London experience he decided to move to Toronto, Canada. There he continued to learn from the best mentors and kept inspiring himself with the possibilities of high gastronomy. His own ideas and recipes got him finally back to Prague, where he became the Executive Chef in Le Grill Restaurant in 2014. Hotel director Meet Jaroslav Svoboda, director and Co-owner of The Grand Mark Hotel Jaroslav Svoboda studied hotel school in Prague and after finishing his studies in 1991 he started to work in luxury hotels and restaurants in France and England. After his return to the Czech Republic he took a part in several operating, sales and marketing positions in Prague hotels and gastronomy facilities. In 2003 Svoboda established CZECH INN HOTELS, which currently operates 15 hotels and restaurants all over the Czech Republic. He is one of the owners of company and its only executive director. 6
Art in The Grand Mark Hotel When you enter inside The Grand Mark Hotel you will be struck by its unique personality. The whole space is decorated with original paintings from London galleries and the public space features abstract golden metal statues made by Slovak artist Peter Nižňanský. The restaurant captures guests attention with its significant décor combining history with modern items and dominating Italian Murano chandeliers in black and red colours. The most magnificent of all is however the hotel garden with its historic pearls such as the lion baroque fountain and arch entrance from 15 th century.. 7

Original spaces combined with art décor and modern AV equipment will certainly amaze all the attendees. Every Grand Mark meeting room has a natural day light. In the near future the hotel will open a brand new meeting room which is currently being built in the back of the property and which will provide its guests with garden refreshment. The space will be airy and light due to large windows and will provide up to date AV equipment. 8
