Active on the Danube New market Products target new market niche - LOHAS - mainly younger, well situated, dynamic customers searching for active holidays in nature. This form of active holidays is already very popular and fast expanding market on the European waterways (EuroVelo and EuroHiking short and long-distance hiking networks etc.)

PROMOTION AND MARKETING Danube @ ITB Enhancing visibility of tourism products of Danube countries at Berlin trade show maximizing the success for all partners. Joint efforts enhance knowledge about Danube region and strengthen the Danube brand within tourism industry worldwide.

Advocating for tourism development Political Advocacy GIZ and DCC organized three Danube Floating Conferences networking events onboard the Danube cruise ships. The events are aiming to create a better environment for sustainable tourism development in the region and improve cooperation between Danube countries in general. Danube Parliamentary Network The platform and driving force for co-operation, cross border dialogue and forum for discussion and exchange of opinions involving parliamentarian representatives along the Danube.
