SCVAS & MROSD Summer Camp Driving Directions to: Picchetti Ranch Preserve 13100 Montebello Rd, Cupertino (Map provided below) Monday, July 20th ( Nature Explorations ) ONLY If coming from 280: 1. Take the N. Foothill Blvd/Foothill Expressway exit (#13) on 280 2. Turn SOUTH towards Foothill Blvd. (LEFT if heading North on 280, RIGHT if heading South on 280). 3. Continue on Foothill Blvd for approximately 1.2 miles until it becomes Stevens Canyon Rd. 4. Continue onto Stevens Canyon Rd for 1.8 miles 5. Make a SHARP RIGHT at Montebello Rd (after the entrance to the quarry) 6. After about.1 miles, take the 1st LEFT to stay on Montebello Rd (i.e. DON T enter the road to the Brookside Stables) 7. The Parking Lot for the Picchetti Ranch Preserve will be about.4 miles on the LEFT. Watch out for the sign and do NOT enter private property or the winery parking lot. If coming from 101/85: 1. Merge onto 280 N but stay in the right-most lane 2. Exit immediately onto Foothill Blvd/Foothill Expressway 3. Turn LEFT at the end of the exit ramp at the light onto Foothill Blvd. 4. Then follow directions (#3-7) as above.

SCVAS & MROSD Summer Camp Driving Directions to: McClellan Ranch Park & Preserve 22221 McClellan Rd, Cupertino (Map provided below) Tues, July 21 st ( Bugs and the Creek ) Wed, July 22 nd ( All About Birds ) Fri, July 24 th ( Spaces and Species ) For each of these three dates, we will meet at McClellan Ranch Park & Preserve in Cupertino. Please arrive by 8:50AM each day to sign your child(ren) in, and at 3:00PM to pick them up! Getting Here: 280 from San Jose: Take the Foothill exit (1st Los Altos exit). Take a left on Foothill. Go approx. 1.5 miles and take a left on McClellan. McClellan Ranch Park is on the left diagonally across from the Deep Cliff Golf Course. 280 from Palo Alto: Take the Foothill exit. Take a right on Foothill and follow directions above. 85 from Mountain View: Take the Stevens Creek exit. Take a right on Stevens Creek and the first left (after crossing over the freeway) onto Bubb Road. Take a right on McClellan Ranch (approx. 0.6 miles). McClellan Ranch Park will be on the right (approx. 0.7 miles). 85 from Los Gatos: Take the Stevens Creek exit. Take a left on Stevens Creek and follow directions above. IMPORTANT: Park in the designated parking spaces and sign-in with one of the SCVAS or MROSD staff/volunteers at the bleachers. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN UNMARKED OR RESTRICTED AREAS. If spaces fill, you will be directed to park in the grassy lot next door. NOTE: As indicated above, we will meet at McClellan Ranch Preserve on Friday, July 24 th, but will be taking a bus back and forth from Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve. If you wish to meet us at Skyline Ridge OSP, please contact the SCVAS Programs Coordinator for those directions and instructions. However, we strongly encourage ALL participants to take advantage of the bus transportation for this date as provided with your camp registration.
McClellan Ranch Park & Preserve is located at 22221 McClellan Rd, Cupertino. The overflow parking area is located next door at 22241 McClellan Rd. (NOTE: The entrance to the park is a SHARP turn at the bottom of the hill. Watch your speed so you don t miss the driveway!) Overflow Parking
SCVAS & MROSD Summer Nature Days Driving Directions to: 9:00AM Drop-Off: Charleston Slough Terminal Blvd and North San Antonio Rd, Mountain View 3:00PM Pick-Up: Rengstorff House at Shoreline Park 3070 Shoreline Blvd, Mountain View Thursday, July 23rd ( Wetlands Wonders ) ONLY Getting Here Drop-Off at Charleston Slough From the South Bay-- -Take 101 N (or 85 N to 101 N) to Mountain View - Exit San Antonio Rd., and go RIGHT off the freeway towards the Bay - Follow San Antonio until it dead ends at Terminal Blvd. - Park in the available spaces and meet at the trailhead outside of the gate on the corner of San Antonio and Terminal From the North Bay-- -Take 101 S to Mountain View - Exit San Antonio Rd. NORTH, and go towards the Bay - Follow San Antonio until it dead ends at Terminal Blvd. - Park in the available spaces and meet at the trailhead outside of the gate on the corner of San Antonio and Terminal (NOTE: Driving to Charleston Slough in Mountain View can take longer than you expect due to morning traffic and construction. Please make sure to give yourselves plenty of time to get there ) Getting Here Pick-up at Shoreline Park From the South: -Take 101 North to the Shoreline Exit -Turn RIGHT onto Shoreline Blvd. Continue straight on Shoreline for approximately 1 mile do not turn onto Ampitheatre Parkway! -Upon entering the park, go past the Dog Park and Kite Area, and continue on Shoreline for another 1.1 miles. -Follow the signs for the Rengstorff House and park in the main Rengstorff House Visitor Parking Lot. From the North: -Take 101 South to the Rengstorff Ave Exit -At the fork, keep RIGHT and follow signs for Rengstorff Ave, which will shortly become Ampitheatre Parkway. -Continue on Ampitheatre Parkway for approximately.7 miles, then turn LEFT onto Shoreline Blvd. -Upon entering the park, go past the Dog Park and Kite Area, and continue on Shoreline for another 1.1 miles. -Follow the signs for the Rengstorff House and park in the main Rengstorff House Visitor Parking Lot.
