Saturday, September 23: Arrive Athens transfer to hotel Upon arrival at Athens airport we ll clear immigration and passport control; claim our luggage and clear customs and be greeted in the Arrivals Hall by our local representative and transferred to our hotel in Athens. Meet our tour host this evening for a welcome cocktail and briefing. Sunday, September 24: Athens (B,D) Join a morning walking tour of Athens, including a visit to the Acropolis. Early in the afternoon consider an optional tour to watch the magical sunset at Sounio from Poseidon's Temple. Tonight enjoy a welcome dinner at your hotel. Athens Acropolis
Optional tour: sunset from Poseidon s Temple Monday, September 25: Athens Mykonos (B) Transfer to the Athens port of Piraeus and board the hydrofoil to Mykonos. Upon arrival we ll be transferred to our hotel and have a relaxing afternoon.
Tuesday, September 26: Mykonos Delos Excursion (B) Transfer to Mykonos port to join a half-day excursion to the deserted island of Delos, which is one of the most important archaeological sites of the eastern Mediterranean. Upon return we ll be transferred back to our hotel. Delos Wednesday, September 27: Mykonos (B) We have a free day to explore on our own. Enjoy the beautiful beaches of the island or enjoy some shopping for handmade goods. Mykonos Town Thursday, September 28: Mykonos Santorini (B) Transfer to the port to board our ferry to Santorini. We ll be met and transferred to our hotel upon arrival. Enjoy the unique scenery that this island has to offer.
Friday, September 29: Santorini Volcano & Oia Village (B) Join a full day excursion of Santorini volcano and the nearby islands. Travel by boat and walk on the rims of the active crater in Nea Kameni. Enjoy a swim in the hot springs and visit the traditional village of Manolas after lunch before arriving in Oia village - famous for its sunsets and hill top bars. Santorini volcano Nea Kameni
Oia Village Manolas Village Saturday, September 30: Santorini (B,D) Today we have a free day to explore Santorini. We might like to visit the important archaeological site at Akrotiri. In the evening enjoy your farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Red beach Oia sunset Sunday, October 1: Santorini Paros (B) Transfer to Santorini port to board the ferry to Paros where we ll met and transferred to our hotel for a relaxing afternoon.
Monday, October 2: Paros Excursion to Antiparos (B,L) We ll be picked up this morning and take the short ferry ride to Antiparos. Stroll around the small streets of the village and visit the Venetian castle. Join our 6-hour boat excursion beach-hopping and enjoy a great BBQ lunch. In the late afternoon we return to Paros and are transferred to 0ur hotel. Tuesday, October 3: Paros (B) Today is a day at leisure to explore on our own. You may want to hire a car today and explore Paros. The island has numerous beaches including Golden Sand Beach, Pounda, Logaras and Piso Livadi. Some beaches are fully organized, but you can easily find your own private beach on the southeastern part of this island.
Wednesday, October 4: Paros flight to Athens return flight to Boston Transfer to the Paros airport for a short flight back to Athens and our connecting flight to Boston.
