It s just a 30-minute flight from Honolulu International Airport, or a 45-minute ferry ride from Maui. Direct flights are available from domestic and international hubs to Honolulu on commercial or private jets. Oahu Lāna'i Honolulu International Airport and Kalaeloa Airport Kona Lāna'i Kona International Airport, Hilo International Airport and Waimea-Kohala Airport Maui Lāna'i Hana Airport and Kahului Airport QUICK REFERENCE Time and distance to city center 20 minutes/7 miles/11.3 kilometres TRANSPORTATION Lāna'i Airport is located off Kaumalapau Highway, approximately 3 miles (4.8 kilometers) west of Lāna'i City, and features a paved runway 5,000 feet (1,524 meters) long and 150 feet (45.7 meters) wide. It has facilities to accommodate corporate jets and can offer plane-side transfer service. Helicopter charters from Honolulu and other neighbouring island airports are also available. Ferry The Expeditions passenger ferry offers daily services between Lāhainā, Maui and the Manele Small Boat Harbor on Lāna'i. The scenic ferry ride is 45 minutes and there are five round-trip ferries throughout the day. Reservations at least 24 hours prior to departure are required and can be booked online or by calling 1-800-695-2624. Hotel Rental Fleet Let our Lāna'i Ambassadors assist in booking a 4x4 vehicle from the Four Seasons Resort Lāna'i rental fleet to explore our 90,000-acre island destination. Remember that only 30 miles (48 kilometers) of Lāna'i s roads are paved, so for serious exploring, a four-wheeldrive vehicle is in order.
