WELCOME TO ANOTHER GREAT HOLIDAY SEASON! The Kelders Family is excited to welcome your family to your home away from home here at the Klondyke. It s been 45 years since John & Dina Kelders made the decision to start a small campground in the beautiful Lake Huron area. In the years since 1972, that small campground has become a large resort for RV s with 450 sites, 3 swimming pools, a splash pad and large sun decks shaded by palm trees. There are 2 playgrounds, a tennis court, basketball court, soccer field and a sand volleyball court. You can stay active as active or relaxed as you choose. Thanks to volunteer campers, there is a full schedule of activities for kids & adults. The whole family will enjoy dances in the Pavilion on Long Weekends, or you can just sit by a cozy campfire and tell stories, roast marshmallows and marvel at how clear the stars are at night. Always check the Bulletin Boards for changes and updates to the events and any important info you need to know. Take a walk and stop at the pond with the large rock waterfall and just enjoy the view, or stop at Grumpa s Fry Shack and get the table with the view so you can enjoy the waterfall and lunch! Take some time to view the picture walls in the main building to see the wonderful job John & Dina did to create a legacy that is still in the same Family hands, now run by their children. If you have any questions, stop by and ask! The office is located in the building that also features a full RV Parts Store and convenience store where you can find your snacks, souvenirs and any staples you may have forgotten to bring. Located between Grand Bend and the Pinery Provincial Park, near the beautiful shores of Lake Huron, there is lots to see and do in the area. Including churches, lots of great restaurants, shopping and a medical centre, (you can find a full list of what is available in the area and important phone numbers in this calendar.
