Take your occasional breaks in the beauty of Penn s Woods and get to know your public lands. Chances are your participants will stay more alert and focused and you ll accomplish so much more than you would in a hotel conference center! Bureau of State Parks Policy: The bureau has no written policy outside of the fee waiver. Agreements/Authorization Required: Most are hand shake deals. In some cases (such as the agility program) arrangements are made in which the bureau stipulates what each agency attending is going to do and/or provide for the meeting or event. Bureau of Forestry Policy: The bureau has no written policy toward use of meeting facilities, but has never engaged in any deals with commercial industry toward such. BOF does, at times, allow other agencies/partners use of district office facilities. Agreements/Authorization Required: Most are hand shake deals. In some cases, it is necessary to make arrangements to have a staff member on site to open/close building if meeting is outside of normal business hours, or to make arrangements to stipulate what each agency attending is going to do and/or provide for the meeting or event.
