Investors HGA Capital ECE / Otto Family Sustainability Thinking and acting sustainably from the planning stage to operation. This describes the holistic approach that ECE has made the basis of its long-term corporate philosophy. Thus, for example, Ernst-August-Galerie was one of the first-ever shopping centers to receive a major gold certificate of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). The natural ventilation system makes an electric cooling system for the mall unnecessary. This way, CO2 emissions are reduced by 35 tons per year. In addition, 250W-photovoltaic panels were installed on the roof of the center. They generate a power output that matches the consumption of approximately 65 single-family houses and reduce CO emissions by 50 tons per year. Other measures to protect the climate include the latest state-of-the-art energy-efficient light sources and the use of certified green energy. SUSTAINABILITY CERTIFICATION DGNB-Zertifikat in Gold 6
There is always plenty of activity For more than five decades ECE has been successfully combining shopping and entertainment in its shopping centers. Our visitors are fascinated by the variety of events such as fashion shows, colorful product presentations, art exhibitions, and concerts. The highly qualified ECE center managers can rely on ECE s accumulated know-how and competence and use synergies of its Europe-wide activities. 7
