There is 1 group-transfer based on the final group arrival time, and so early arrivers may spend some time on their own at the airport. River Rafting on the Flathead River Experience the thrill of whitewater rafting! Ride the rapids on the Flathead River (Class II-IV) down the Middle Fork through John Stevens Canyon. For 8 miles (almost 13 km), your raft bobs and glides past the majestic peaks that rise to the sky on either side of you. Those seeking a more serene experience can float down the river's gentle North Fork to Blankenship Bridge and enjoy a scenic trip. Scenic Drive to Canada Bid farewell to Glacier National Park and take a scenic coach ride north to Alberta, Canada, traveling through the rolling hills of the Blackfoot Reservation. Coach Ride to Lake Louise Travel along Alberta's historic Cowboy Trail, which runs between the Rocky Mountains and the Canadian prairie in Alberta's ranching country. This is the real West up close! CANADIAN ROCKIES FAMILY VACATION TIPS PREPARING FOR YOUR ADVENTURE Required Travel Documentation If you are a U.S. citizen, you will need a valid passport to enter Canada and return to the United States. Your passport must be valid six months beyond your intended stay and have 1-2 blank pages remaining. Allow yourself sufficient time to have your application processed if you are applying for a new passport or renewing an expired passport. Refer to the U.S. Department of State for further details. A passport card can be used at U.S. land and sea ports of entry when arriving from Canada. The card may not be used to travel by air. In addition, Guests 17 years of age or younger may be required to show additional documentation when traveling with a single parent. If you are not a U.S. citizen, please check with the Canadian Embassy or Consulate for information on documentation requirements. Passport Services You can apply for a passport through CIBT, Inc., a third party travel document company servicing the travel industry (not affiliated with the Walt Disney Company). Temperatures in the day average between 60 F and 70 F (16 C and 21 C), and can dip down to 40 F (4 C) at night, so be sure to bring warm clothing. At the conclusion of the adventure, we will provide one group transfer for the 2.5-hour ride from Banff to Calgary International Airport for your return flight home. Note that DURING YOUR ADVENTURE Currency The unit of currency in America is the U.S. Dollar (USD). In Canada, the unit of currency is the Canadian Dollar (CAD). ATM machines are available in most places along your adventure to obtain cash in the local currency. Most hotels and restaurants accept major credit cards and debit cards. Gratuities Adventure Guide Gratuities Gratuities for your Adventure Guides are not included. Based on the quality of service you have received, we suggest the following gratuity guidelines. Please note that this is for each member of your traveling party, per Adventure Guide, per day. Per Adult/Child/Per Adventure Guide/Per Day $8 - $11 USD Example: For a 7-day adventure, the Adventure Guide gratuity per Guest, per Adventure Guide: $56 - $77 USD. For two guides, this is a total of $448 - $616 USD The Adventure Guides gratuity can be paid in U.S dollars, local currency, we are providing only ONE group transfer to your hotel in

You typically do not need any special vaccinations to travel to Canada from other countries. Airport (FCA) in Kalispell to the Glacier Park Lodge in East Glacier Park (2-hour drive to East Glacier Park). On your departure day, 1 group transfer is available from The Fairmont Banff Springs in Banff to the Calgary International Airport (YYC) in Calgary, Alberta (2.5-hour drive to Calgary). Can I extend my vacation beyond the Adventures by Disney itinerary? Pre-stays are not available for this trip. Post-stays are by request only and are subject to availability with the hotel. During the adventure, transportation is provided by a private motor coach. What airport do I fly into and out of? ARRIVAL: You will fly into Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) on your arrival day. Your flight should arrive no later than 2:30 PM. Since we are providing 1 group-transfer based on the final party arrival time, early arrivers may spend some time at the airport. DEPARTURE: At the end of the adventure, you will fly out of Calgary International Airport (YYC). Do not schedule your flight to depart earlier than 1:00 PM. What ages are appropriate for this adventure? While we welcome children ages 4 and up on our Montana and Alberta, Canada trip, we recommend that children be at least 8 years old at the time of travel. This recommendation is based on several factors, such as extended hours of daily activity programming, potential for extreme temperatures in the summer months and amount of physical activity (e.g., walking, hiking, biking, rafting). Because each child is different, call a Vacationista at (800) 543-0865 to discuss whether this is the right trip for your kids. Are transfers included if I arrive or depart from different locations or at different times from the itinerary? No. Transfers are only included from the specified arrival/departure airports and hotels. For the Montana and Canada trip, there is 1 group transfer that is included from Glacier Park International How strenuous are the activities? While this adventure is not considered physically strenuous, most days will include at least 1 physically active outdoor activity. What if Adventures by Disney cancels the adventure prior to departure? We will make every reasonable effort to operate the vacations as advertised; however, we reserve the right to curtail or modify the itinerary, or to substitute activities, hotels, meals or transportation as we deem necessary. We further reserve the right to reduce the number of Adventure Guides to one, and to modify other services to accommodate a smaller group, if a minimum number of Guests is not reached. Similarly, we may marginally exceed the stated group maximum size if necessary to accommodate a family. Please also note that during certain holidays and peak periods, some activities may be disrupted or unavailable. None of these Is alcohol included with meals? Alcoholic beverages are typically not included with your scheduled meals. However, you may purchase them at your own expense. Can you accommodate special dietary needs? modifications or changes shall affect the land package price. We reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time prior to its commencement for any reason, such as if there are too few Guests, or if the quality of the trip or the safety of the Guests would, in our opinion, be compromised, such as may result from unforeseen circumstances (acts of God) or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If we cancel your trip Adventures by Disney will make a reasonable effort to accommodate some special dietary needs at no additional charge. prior to its commencement because there are too few Guests: (i) we will attempt to re-book you on another departure of the same itinerary, subject to availability, and we will bear any reasonable airline re-booking charges; however, if we are unable to rebook you, we will issue a full refund of your land package price and Plan (unless you have filed a claim); and (ii) if you booked airfare through us, we will issue a full refund of your airfare; and (iii) if you did not book airfare through us, we will reimburse you for your reasonable out-of-pocket (subject to proof) airline cancellation charges or, in the case of bookings using frequent flier miles, a reasonable cancellation service fee, provided you have exercised best efforts to mitigate such charges/fees; and (iv) the aforesaid payments and/or rebooking by us shall constitute a full settlement.
