We look forward to traveling with you Travel Programs in Conjunction with the 109th Annual Convention of Rotary International 23 June 27 June, 2018 Toronto, Ontario, Canada You are invited to join us as we travel to the 109 th Annual Convention of Rotary International that will be held in Toronto, Canada June 23 - June 27, 2018. Our programs have been designed to give you freedom and flexibility of choice. We are offering pre and post convention tours, exploring the western Rocky Mountains, Quebec, the Maritime Provinces and even an extraordinary cycling adventure through Quebec province. Howard Tours, which is owned and operated by Rotarians, has been taking Rotarians to the Rotary International conventions since the early 1950 s. Literally, tens of thousands of Rotarians have traveled with us to Rotary's conventions, polio immunization days, humanitarian projects and friendship exchanges. We hope that you will join us in Canada, and that we have included something that would like to see and do around the convention. Thank you for your interest. Brad Howard President Howard Tours Phone: 510-834-2260 Toll Free: 1-800-475-2260 Fax: 510-834-1019 E-mail: Info@HowardTours.net www.howardtours.net www.facebook.com/howardtours CST No.: 1015206-10

Howard Tours Howard Tours was founded in 1948 by Joe Howard, Past District Governor of what was then known as District 517, which includes California s Silicon Valley. We remain a Rotarian owned and operated company, now headed by Brad Howard, also a Past District Governor of District 5170 and Past Rotary International Director of Zones 25 & 26. Our General Manager, Jolene Bortz, is a Past President of Oakland Uptown Rotary Club. Howard Tours is a primary tour operator and not a travel agency. We do not sell to the general public. We select and purchase our services from the airlines, hotels, sightseeing companies, etc. and then sell the tours directly to Rotarians attending the convention. As a result, we offer superior travel service at a greater value. Howard Tours has operated professional, educational, and other specialized programs, such as this one for Rotarians, since our inception. In addition to providing tours to the International Conventions since the early 1950s, Howard Tours has been an innovator in developing humanitarian travel programs that give Rotarians first hand experience in world understanding and peace. These include participation in National Immunization Days in Africa and India, the delivery of wheelchairs to those in need, humanitarian grant site visits and many other humanitarian travel programs. (15) Bank charges incurred by use of a credit card to make final payment. (16) Optional land and service tours during bike trip. Conditions of Prices: Prices are based on airfares, taxes and the value between the U.S. dollar and the currencies of the countries listed when tours are priced and the folder printed. If the exchange rates, airfares, local taxes or other travel costs change, or if the minimum size of the group is not achieved, the traveler may be assessed any extra charges or refunds. The Rocky Mountaineer tour is based on minimum of 26 passengers; if fewer people join the program the per person rate will increase by $260. Cycling Quebec tour is based on a minimum of 10 passengers. By joining this program, you acknowledge that travelers may be charged additional sums by the airlines, and therefore Howard Tours, to offset increased fees, fuel surcharges, taxes, fluctuations in foreign exchange markets or any combination thereof, and therefore you consent to any post-purchase price increases. Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted for final payment. Changes of Itinerary: Howard Tours reserves the right to change the itinerary or services for reasons which may be out of our control, (e.g.,: airline schedule changes, number of people who join a tour, natural disasters, etc.) If changes are necessary, the traveler may be assessed any extra charges or refunds. Cancellations & Other Charges: Cancellations must be made by letter, E-mail, or fax and NOT by telephone. Partial or total cancellation of tour services, regardless of reason, are subject to: (1) Funds that may be withheld or imposed by the airlines, hotels, cruise lines, sightseeing companies, etc.; and (2) A per person Howard Tours' cancellation service fee, prorated before departure, as follows: $300 up to 46 days before departure, and $500 within 45 days of departure. Cancellations within 14 days of departure are fully non-refundable. Travelers whose changes result in rewritten air tickets will be charged whatever penalties the airlines may impose, and a Howard Tours $50 service fee. Those applying within 45 days of departure will be assessed extra expenses caused by late enrollment, with a minimum charge of $50 per person. In addition, if you are joining the Cycle Quebec Tour, Freewheeling Cycle Company will impose a cancellation fee of $500 up to 60 days before departure and $1000 from 60-30 days before departure. Because the airlines, hotels, etc. impose heavy cancellation fees, we recommend the purchase of "Cancellation Insurance," which is available through Howard Tours.
