Key Arrival Information Please fly into Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Bangkok (BKK). Alternatively you can opt for Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) if flights allow. Please arrive in Bangkok prior to the X2 Convoy departing at 9am on the morning of February 24th. We would suggest arriving on 23rd February, or earlier, and staying the night in Bangkok so you are fresh and ready for the Convoy. The X2 Convoy departs from the Dusit Thani Bangkok, or as we call it, the Bangkok Base on the Saturday morning. Please see the next page for special prices at this legendary hotel for X2 guests only. Founder and CEO, Mr. Richard Overton s British upbringing has crafted the man he is today, so it is only fitting that on a 5th anniversary X2 brings a slice of Great Britain over to Thailand. Sunday afternoon, just after tea time, but before supper, the manicured lawn of the Dusit Thani will be transformed into the Mad Hatter s (no surprises who this is) English Garden Party. Lawn Games, delicious food, summer beverages, and a lot of surprises await on the first formal afternoon of the 2018 conference. Alice in Wonderland collides head on with Phileas Fogg in the most unique event ever conceived at a logistics conference. Eccentric blazers, brightly coloured trousers, and straw hats are more than encouraged, as well as fascinator s to accompany those delightful summer dresses. Delegates are encouraged to bring a token gift from their home country for the tombolla to spread some X2 cultural love. Last year, members had the opportunity to play in the second X2 World Cup. We have brought the X2 World Cup back again for a third season. Again the X2 World Cup is going to be one of the highlights of the X2 Conference that members will not want to miss. This time at a different venue with improved amenities on the hotel grounds we'll bring an elevated experience. The X2 World Cup is a great opportunity to grow relationships with new and familiar members in a more relaxed environment. 1:1 Meeting Registration will be available about a month prior to the conference. 1:1 Meetings Videos & Presentations for 1:1 Meetings It is strongly recommended that all X2 Conference Delegates, intending to use a video as a visual aid during their 1:1 meetings, bring their own PC, tablet, and/or portable thumbdrive device, etc. with the video already on the physical device. Wireless internet can be unpredictable and can lead to frustration. Bringing your own company content can cut down on the possibility of an unexpected outage affecting your presentation. Promotional Items At the registration desk, conference delegates will be able to display any promotional items of their company. Conference Preparation To prepare for the conference, we have included information about the dress code, registration, weather, and promotional materials. Dress Code (IMPORTANT) The overall dress code of the 5th Annual X2 Conference 2018 is Smart Casual/Business Attire. For events such as the 1:1 sessions, members can dress in Business Attire. Conference Confrence Registration Registration On the opening day of the 5th Annual X2 Conference 2018, registration will be open from 14:00-18:00, 07:00-19:00 on the second day, and from 07:00-10:00 on the third day.
