The crop report document will be updated as we receive new information from each country. Ecuador and Peru Crop Information Mango volume shipped on week ending 12/16/17 was approximately 1,486,890 boxes. During the same week last year, volume shipped was approximately 2,057,810 boxes. Ecuador s main varieties are Tommy Atkins (65%), Ataulfo (15%), Kent (12%), Keitt (3%) and Other (5%). Volume on week ending 12/16/17 Volume shipped from Ecuador was approximately 1,088,224 boxes for a total of 11,191,880 boxes for the season. During the same week last year, volume shipped from Ecuador was approximately 765,600 boxes for a total of 11,862,166 boxes. The NMB is aware of the discrepancy between the Total Shipped from Ecuador and Total Arrived at U.S. Entry Port in the graphs and table below, and is working with USDA-AMS to correct and update the information as it becomes available.
