November 1988: EXT. EERIE STREET- NIGHT A man is walking down the street whistling an unsettling tune. Nobody else is around, he is alone. Fog is very prominent in the area, covering much scenery. The walk seems endless, until the very suspicious man stops at a house. The house seems very well taken care of as if it has never been inhabited. The man then walks up the stairs and to the door, reaching inside his pocket and pulls out a key. He unlocks the door, opening it and shutting it as he walks inside. INT. UNKNOWN HOUSE- NIGHT The man walks inside, no lights are turned on. He continues to make his way through the house, walking past pincushions, voodoo dolls. a voodoo book, etc. A sound of crying and moaning is muffled but still heard. As he walks through the house, the noise gets louder and louder. Soon, he walks into a room and kneels down by a rug. He pulls the rug back, revealing a hidden basement door. The crying is very prominent at this point. The source is obviously coming from behind this door. The man opens the door, revealing a small staircase. He then walks down the steps, closing the doors above him. INT. UNKNOWN BASEMENT- NIGHT It is pitch black in the basement. The crying and muffled screams only get louder. And louder. And LOUDER! It is horrifying as the man s footsteps slow pace through the basement.

2. A light then flicks on. A DEEPLY HORRIFIED woman is bound flat to a table with duct tape wrapped around her mouth, so she is unable to call out for help. She has blonde hair, and is very attractive. Mascara is smeared over her face from her tears. The light bulb dangles above her. The man circles around the table LIKE A BUZZARD. MAN Hello, Tiffany. He stops to look at the duct tape over her mouth. MAN Oh, I m sorry. How rude of me, let me get that for you. He slowly peels the tape off of her mouth. He laughs. Go to hell, asshole! MAN Oh, nice to see you too. You can call me Chucky by the way. The man then comes into the light, finally revealing his face., late 40 s, very rugged features, cuts and scars nearly cover his entire face, long and messy brown hair, and a receding hair line with a Widow s Peak. Tiffany looks away from his hideous face, closing her eyes as she quietly sobs. There, there. Don t worry. He creepily reaches over with his thumb and wipes a tear away from her right eye. (cont d) It will all be over soon. He then reaches into his pocket, taking out a knife with a squiggly bronze line that goes down each side of it.

3. Tiffany sees the knife and realizes what is about to happen. She PANICS. No. Please, you don t have to do this. Chucky begins to chant a Voodoo ritual. Ade due damballa.- Please. I m begging you. Secoise entienne mais pois de morte.- You don t have to do this. Her begging is worthless as Chucky continues to chant. Morteisma lieu de vocuier de mieu vochette.- Please! He raises the knife. Endonline pour de boisette damballa! Just as he strikes, he can hear the front door of the house shutting. The knife STOPS just a moment before it touches her flesh. Shit. (cont d) He quickly grabs a chloroform soaked cloth. No, please- He forces it over her face.

4. He grips his strong hand to her face as she STRUGGLES to break free. After a brief struggle, Tiffany finally gives in and PASSES OUT. Chucky takes the cloth off of Tiffany s face and flicks off the light. Now back into darkness, Chucky makes his way back to the basement door. INT. S HOUSE- KITCHEN- NIGHT Chucky quietly opens the basement door as he walks up the steps and into the kitchen. He closes the doors below him slowly, then places the rug back over them. He creeps through the kitchen searching for the trespasser in the dark. He then hears something coming from the hallway. A glass bottle ROLLS into the kitchen. He finds this very suspicious and proceeds to to the hallway. INT. S HOUSE- HALLWAY- NIGHT His eyes search franticaly through the hall for the trespasser. A DARK FIGURE THEN APPEARS BEHIND HIM. Chucky senses this and quickly turns around, but he is a second too late. The figure whacks Chucky in the head with a bat. Chucky FALLS to the ground unconcious. The dark figure then aproaches him. CUT TO:

5. INT. ABANDONED TOY SHOP- NIGHT Chucky awakens in an ABANDONED building. He is bound to a chair and has a PIERCING headache. He struggles to break free. MIKE (O.S.) Rise and shine, dirtbag. Chucky looks toward his tormentor. He now reveals himself. MIKE NORRIS, 53, a deeply depressed man, he is dressed like a hobo, not in great shape. Chucky laughs. Who the fuck are you? MIKE I m the guy that s gonna kill you! You ruined my life, you sick son of a bitch! Why? Mike exhales. MIKE Let s see, where do I start. I used to be a cop, working on your case. Then, you killed my daughter and my grandson. Mike tries to keep his feelings hidden. I became obsessed in finding you and putting a bullet in your head. All to the point where I lost my job, my wife, my house. It has been 10 years you have plagued my life... He pulls Chucky s knife out of his pocket. But no longer. He picks up a bag and reaches inside.

6. He pulls out a "GOOD GUYS" DOLL. This was Tommy s favorite toy. A tear runs down his cheek. And I m supposed to care, why? Mike becomes angered. He walks over to Chucky and PUNCHES him in the face. MIKE You ruined my life! He raises the knife to Chucky. And for that, I will take your life. Mike presses the knife against his neck. He DROPS the doll. See you in hell. Mike SLASHES his throat. Chucky laughs as he GURGLES on his own blood. Chucky now DIES. (gurgling) Et timebant interrogare eum. Mike drops the knife, realizing he has fulfilled his vengeance. But his work is NOT done. He picks up his grandson s toy, and places it back into the bag. He does not know that a drop Chucky s blood HAS BEEN SPILT on the doll. He turns to his side and grabs a jug of gasoline. He POURS the gas over Chucky s corpse.

7. He tosses the now empty jug to the side. He reaches in his pocket for something. He takes out a match book. He opens it and snaps off a match. He STRIKES the match, then throwing it onto the gasoline soaked corpse of Chucky. The very second the match touches the soaked corpse, it BURSTS in the flame. Turning his back to the flames, Mike takes the bag with the doll inside and quickly makes his way outside the building. As he leaves, the building, now revealed to be "Child s Play Toy Shop", BURNS TO TH GROUND. FULL SCRIPT COMING SOON... CUT TO BLACK.
