FUN FACTS FUN FACTS Sevierville is Dolly s Hometown Dolly Parton grew up in the shadow of her beloved Smoky Mountains and was appearing regularly on WSEV radio in Sevierville before she was ten years old. After graduating from Sevier County High School in 1964, Dolly Parton moved to Nashville to become famous a statement that left many of her classmates laughing at her.
