What are the Scottish Hotel Awards? The Scottish Hotel Awards, founded in 2003 to recognise, reward and encourage hospitality excellence in Scotland, are known as the national Hotel Oscars. As Scotland s leading independent Hotel awards, they are the only independently assessed recognition programme for both hotels and people of excellence. The awards generate significant exposure for hotel winners, and provide customers with an informed choice of the best that Scotland has to offer. The Flagship Awards for the Scottish Hotel Industry Why join the Scottish Hotel Awards There are 32 hotel award categories, providing tourists and visitors with an independent guide to the best that Scotland has to offer. Established as Scotland s first hotel awards and the first body to recognise people of excellence, they are the credible and authentic compass for the industry and consumers alike. Former First Minister, Alex Salmond, MSP We are delighted to have been awarded regional winners for these categories. It s fantastic for our team to have been recognised for the phenomenal efforts that went into what was a very busy 2016. Who can join the Scottish Hotel Awards The Scottish Hotel Awards are open to any hotel rated three star equivalent or above looking to acknowledge their hotel s excellence and their staff s contribution. Each hotel receives year round marketing to assist with boosting their brand and generating commission-free bookings.
