2. day Villeneuve-les-Avignon - Arles 55 km In the morning at appro. 09:30 am you will be greated by a staff member, handed over your rental bikes if booked and soon you start cycling. You ride along the Rhone and pass Little Crau to St. Rémy de Provence. Glanum is famous for its Greek and Roman monuments. Further on you cycle to the medieval village Les Baux until you reach your destination for tonight Arles, where the whole city has been classified as world patrimony, because of its numerous Roman and medieval monuments. Today you stay in very stylish 3-star hotel in a historic building. But luxury is not missing, even a swimming pool the hotel has to offer. 3. day Arles - Saintes Maries de la Mer 40 km A varied day awaits you. By bike you can quickly reach the flat, magical landscape of the Camargue. You cycle to the lake Vaccarès and through the bird sanctuary up to Saintes Maries de la Mer with its Romanesque fortified church. Let the day end cozy end at the comfortable 4-star hotel and enjoy a dip in the swimming pool of the hotel. 4. day Saintes Maries de la Mer - Saint Gilles 40 km Through ample rice fields you roll to St. Gilles. You should visit the abbey with it s famous romanic portal and the crypt.
