08:15 am After breakfast make your way to the S. Lucia train station on your own. Departure from Venice to Florence by train (high speed Frecciargento ) FLORENCE Arrival at the main railway station in Florence (Santa Maria Novella). arrival by themselves at the Hotel Universo*** for chek-in. Lunch on own. After lunch at 2:30 pm departure with English speaking guide from hotel for a walking tour of the city centre. visit the peculiar Central market zone, characterized by shops and stalls near the Medici Chapel and the Basilica of San Lorenzo, temple the familia de ' Medici. From here you can reach Piazza del Duomo, where you can admire the Cathedral and the famous dome by Brunelleschi, the Belfry by Giotto and the Baptistery of San Giovanni, with the Gates of Paradise. The tour continues through the medieval quarters where Dante and Beatrice lived. Continue to the Bargello Palace and not far away, the Piazza della Signoria, a large outdoor sculpture museum, dominated by the impressive Palazzo Vecchio. Next to this is the Uffizi Gallery, one of the leading museums of the world. Later the guide will accompany visitors to the Loggia del Mercato Nuovo, where you can admire the Fountain of "Piggy". A walk through the streets of Florence will culminate at the Ponte Vecchio. After crossing the bridge, you will reach the wonderful Pitti Palace. General Information, Terms & Conditions (four(4) or more pax) ADVANCE and FINAL PAYMENT A non-refundable advance payment of $400.00 per person is required for us to reserve accommodation for you. This advance payment forms part of your final payment which is due ninety(90) to sixty (60) days prior to departure. If the booking is made less than forty-five (45) days prior to departure, the whole cost must be paid when booking. We are not bound to finalize any reservation until full payment is made.
