Mission Trail Mustangs Car Club - Pony Express Newsletter July 2017 Mission Trail Mustangs is a car club formed in 1999 by Mustang and Ford enthusiasts who share a common interest in Mustangs of all Vintages and other significant Ford Motor Company products. We invite the owners of Mustangs, Shelby s, Cobras, Fair Lanes, Torino s, Galaxies, Cougars, Falcons, Comets, Broncos and all other Ford marques to come to one of our meetings and join in the camaraderie and good fellowship. Our club is interested in providing a fun and participative environment for owners to make new friends, learn new things and generally share their love of the Blue Oval breed. 1

Tina and Joe just sharing a story and photo of Gracie Actually Gracie is the ancestor of today's Mustang. We've had her for about three months and had to transplant her motor because the poor girl had a cracked block with lots of water in the oil. Got a lot of help from friends at the Model A club to put the new engine in and get her running again. 8

Fremont 2017 4th of July Parade We had Seven (7) Mustangs, Ten (10) Club members and Seven (9) Guest participating in this Parade. Dee Dee and Cathy provided pastries, coffee and orange juice, that we all enjoyed! We Thank You Very Much!! Grady is on a walk about and Amy is taking the photo. 11

This is one of their 3-DAY WORK WEEKS that we all pay for (salary is about $179,000 per year). Is this real or maybe it s a fake picture. from the editor 16

Lots of fun Hot San Jose Nights presents S.T.E.A.M. and Reid-Hillview Airport Day 2017! Saturday, July, 8 from 10am - 4pm ALL FREE TO THE PUBLIC! CAR AWARDS DEADLINE DATE EXTENDED UNTIL MONDAY! We've been given until Monday, June 26th at 5pm! So HURRY! You still have time to register and receive your plaque award! If you miss this deadline you can still register up until the day before the show to confirm your space on the tarmac. CAR REGISTRATION EXPANDED! The Airport has opened up more space for cars on the tarmac! This means we can accept more cars! Get your apps in ASAP! Award deadline is June 28th, but you can still register to be in the show until the last minute or until the spaces are filled. 17
