Tanah Lot temple was founded in 1481 AD by a famous Hindu priest Dang Hyang Nirartha. It is situated in the ocean, and can only be reached during low tide. The temple has a reputation for being dangerous, partly due to the many poisonous snakes that live in the surrounding caves. It is believed by the locals that these snakes are protectors of the temples, guarding it from intruders. We proceed towards the southern Bukit Peninsula, pass Jimbaran bay and Dreamland surf beach. Day 1: LABUAN BAJO RINCA You will be picked up in Labuan Bajo 8Airport or Hotel) and transferred to the harbor to get on a local boat. The boat takes you to Rinca Island. A trekking session in Rinca island in the afternoon and you are ready to get a firsthand experience of the monstrous and dreaded Komodo dragons and other unique wild animals from close quarters. You can enjoy dinner and spend the night on the boat itself. Sleeping facilities are providet at the boat. Komodo Camp accommodation can be arranged for a surcharge. Day 2: RINCA KOMODO PINK BEACH LABUAN BAJO You are taken to Komodo Islands early in the morning.
