Chesterbrook Academy Camp Adventure SUMMER CAMP ADVENTURE Camp Chesterbrook Academy offers fun-filled summer programs for children entering 1 st grade to children entering 8 th grade. Each week campers jump into action, participating in exciting sports programs, exploring nature, becoming involved in performing and creative arts, playing a part in group activities, and attending special events. Our campers have the opportunity to expand their horizons during the summer, embarking on new adventures, and having fun! Our exceptional program and dedicated staff create an environment that forges lifelong friendships among our campers. We create a summer experience that is unforgettable! It all starts with our outstanding camp counselors. A camp is only as good as its staff, and we are extremely proud of ours. Talent, creativity, love of children, leadership and devotion make our camp counselors the heart and soul of the program. We take our camp programs seriously and begin our summer with intensive staff training and orientation. Camp counselors are doing exactly what they enjoy most: spending a summer inspiring campers to explore, reach for new heights, and expand their horizons. Camp Chesterbrook Academy gives you choices. Camp includes five days of activities, from 8:30 am 4:30 pm. You can choose to add extended hours and specialty camps to your menu of summer fun. We offer a range of outdoor activities, plus indoor activities conducted in our fully air conditioned facility. Our specialty camps are optional programs, operating during regular camp hours, which provide even more choices for unique and exciting adventures. Chesterbrook Academy Camp Adventure Week 2- Soccer Campers will learn individual practices that develop Agility, Balance and Coordination, twenty different ways to turn, fake and beat opponents, juggling, lifts and balances. They will work on dribbling and changing direction while in control of the ball as well as improving accuracy, pace and timing of passes. Campers are given design/building assignments and enthusiastic instructors provide individual assistance and instruction that include facilitating challenges and fun competitions. Campers work individually, in teams, and as a group throughout the week. Dates: June 29-July2 Mon Thurs 9am-10:30am Cost: $60 1 9 Week 8- Mad Science Each day involves fun and crazy science projects and experiments. Students will learn the magic of science while they create crazy putty, fake snot, and some of the classics like vinegar volcanos, mentos explosions and an egg drop! Planning, preparing, and presentation of various types of feed is the focus of this specialty camp. The campers will experience and prepare foods that require math (measurement of ingredients), creativity (presentation) and teamwork. After 6:00pm on the second day, a $25 late payment fee will be assessed. *Since all camp programs are prescheduled, any changes (additions/deletions) to originally selected programs must be made by FRIDAY-TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE of requested change.
